Thomas sucks. Bargnani doesn't need a change of scenery, he's having his best year ever. Toronto aren't trading him any time soon. Diogu would cost more than Ager and a 2nd rounder and isn't worth it.

I wasn't recommending Thomas or Bargnani, just saying that they are guys who haven't done well but are still young and went high in the draft. And Bargnani has done well, but not as well as I think he could. And I'm not sure how much Diogu would cost, he seems like he was a throw in in the Bayless trade, and he is only getting 3 minutes per game. I dunno how much the Blazers would want, but I wouldn't think it would be that much. And his career stats:

12.6 mpg, 6.1 ppg, 4.4 shotspg, .498 FG%, 3.1 rpg.

over 36 minutes:

17.5 points, 12.6 shots, 8.8 rebounds.

Per 36/40/48 stats are pretty useless IMO, especially when dealing with extremely small sample sizes like Diogu's. Stats are dynamic and the players' play changes throughout the game; you can't just multiply stats and see them as realistic.

Diogu would probably cost Sean Williams or Boone plus a 2nd rounder or something like that. Again, not worth it. There's a reason why Golden State and Indiana gave up on him after two seasons each. He's a bust.

Morrison was never going to be a star, he was overdrafted because he was very good in college. At best, he's a scoring punch off of the bench.

Krstic was averaging 17 and 7 when he went down and had two 25+ point games in the 10 days before he was hurt. A healthy Krstic may not be as athletic as Yi, but he is more skilled in the post and has almost as deep range.

And the Nets retain his rights, although with Yi, Lopez and Anderson, I can't see where he would fit on the Nets. It's a damn shame, but that was a tough injury and the Nets have recovered better than he did.

jr smith oozes talent and potential. if he can keep his head on straight he's going to be great when he gets some big minutes. i guess that's a pretty big "if" though.

JR Smith is the modern version of the microwave, former Piston Vinnie Johnson. He can score you a bunch of points in a hurry off the bench but not sure how he'll go as a starter.

Batum is playing really well and so is Travis Outlaw. Not all of them are going to get more than 20 mins a game

Bayless is not going anywhere, especially after the game he had against he Celtics.

Devin can thrive, the biggest reason is that the dribble drive motion offense helps him a lot and the most.
Just like Byron Scott makes CP3 great, the offense is oriented by Chris Paul the most time, so his number looks really great.

Sometimes, I think Devin Harris is like LeBron in PG position, there is very few people that could stop Devin. Not to mention, Devin is bigger and quicker than CP3. Devin also has the decent jumpers.

I dont think Portland likes Bayless that much but he was a lottery pick this year. It'll probably take our next yr first round pick to get him

I agree. I'd go as far to say a healthy Krstic would had meant no JKidd on this squad.

The Nets would had been in the race for a playoff spot and Thorn never would had made the trade.

Yes, that's how much better Krstic is than Yi right now.
