Anybody remember our regular season record in 76-77?

Yeah, but what dimension.

Hawking was beginning to think there might be an infinite number of dimensions.

There is a 5th dimension beyond that which is known to man. A dimension of not only sight and sound, but of mind. A dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. A place between the pit of mans fear and the summit if his knowledge. A place where the Blazers meet the 76ers in the finals for a rematch of the 1977 NBA championship. We call this place the Twilight Zone.

Join me if you will in the city of Portland, Oregon. Its June 2018. The Portland Trail Blazers are about to face the Philadelphia 76'ers in game 1 of the finals. There is nostalgia in the air. Both teams are practicing pregame while the fans gather in their seats. The old building next door still stands, where this very same event happened forty one years prior. They say history repeats itself. These fans are about to find out how true that is. Tune in for 'A Piece of Destiny at 1 Center Court.'

It's destiny.

Okay, Rod. I think you've said all this before.

It was also their record in 86-87, 96-97 and 01-02. And those years ended the same way this year will, with them not winning the title.

Hopefully they don't lose in the first round like those years did too.

Are you the guy at the family dinner table who says "Did you burn this stew?", "This milk doesn't taste fresh", "Why so much salt in the potatoes?", "That's the worst pie I've ever had."

No, but I would be the kind of guy who says "quit saying you slaved all day over a stove, you fucking twat. You went to Taco Bell"

I love that Spock quote!

Great post. Next time quote his name tho. The best Leonard whoever walked the face of this earth deserves that.

Geezus @HCP is right.

You guys are all nerds. Now I know why he limits the amount of time he hangs with y’all.

Can they just hand us the trophy so I won't miss any Stanley cup games

If they did that, then Portland couldn't come back from being down 0-2 against Philly to win the next four in a row.
