We are on a back to back, coming off of an emotional win and they always give us hell down there. Hell, even Freddie was killing us last time until we turned it on in the 4th. I just really would hate to lose HCA due to a letdown against the Clipps.

Yes. Sometimes you come out sluggish...hopefully they stay very focused...it will be a true test for this team. I hope Oden can play more and more...looking better and better each day, and with a depleted front line, I hope he can establish himself offensively.

I'm not too worried. It's the end of the season, they know what's on the line and the end-line is in sight. This should be when they're most focused. This isn't a December, no-end-in-sight trap game where they drop focus.

At least, it shouldn't be.

I think there's a chance they start off slow and end up wrestling the game away from the clips just on talent... maybe a little like the grizz game but not leaving it that late...

Could be an ugly one, but they'll win it.

Zach will be back right? Is Thornton still out with a shoulder injury? Looks like everyone else is healthy...not a bad team on paper...we come out swinging and they will back down

I'm always nervous about every game, but I'm not sure I'd say I'm worried. The Clippers should be packing it in by now, so we just need to get off to a good start and I think they'll fold.

Clippers are freakin' 19-60. Well have to be trying to lose if we drop that one. Back-to-back or not, I don't think we'll have much trouble.

if we can win this game... we wont lose again in the regular season which gets us home court.

This clipper game feels a lot like the GS game we lost right before the break. Rice was right... Clippers game is our biggest of the year.

I'm a little worried for an emotional letdown, playing the Lakers in a crazy loud RG... to playing the lowly Clips in what should be a very big snore-fest of a crowd at Staples.

Hopefully the Clips resort to their end-game strategy if it's close with Zach hoisting up 3s, and we should be fine.

I was chatting with Blazerbeliever earlier and told him this is a typical game that we lose. After a big win, two actually, we play a bad team and have a let down. The Blazers have really impress me lately and if they go in and take care of business it'll just show how much they've matured!

Blazer Mania will be representin' @ Staples.

I'm a bit worried about this game, too. However, this is a back-to-back for the Clippers also, so that takes kind of evens it out. If we don't lose focus, we should be able to take this game.

We are rollin' right now! We will kill 'em!

Clippers played great last night. We have our work cut out for us. Ignore their record. They have talent and they will want to play spoiler. We can win this game but it won't be easy. What an accomplishment if we pull it off. TWENTY road wins??? That would be amazing. I'll be there to watch it firsthand.

Depends on what Z-Bo does. If the Black Hole is having a good game, the Clips have a shot at an upset. If the Black Hole is off, the Blazers should gradually build a lead into the high teens and the Clips will pretty much mail it in.

I know it's the Clippers, but every game is a playoff game the rest of the way of this season. Los Angeles is also playing the second game of a back to back so I'm thinking that the bench player are going to have to win this game. We all know that Portland can do it, but after beating San Antonio and L.A. Lakers this game has let down written all over it. I think that Portland wins out in an ugly contest.

Hi HOWIE!! :hello:

An ex Blazer coming back after a two game suspension does make me nervous. He is rested and has something to prove. They beat us in Portland so anything is possible. Let's just say I am un easy about this game.

Freddie Jones had a pretty good game against us last time IIRC

I think we will blow them away. Greg will have a good game. Rudy will have a good game. Outlaw will have a good game. Joel will dominate. We will hit threes all night and open up the middle for Lamarcus and Greg. No one can stop us now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clap::cheers::wub:

I would hope that Nate would use that last game in Portland as a little motivation, and that is about all it should take.

no offense speed.... but you going to a blazer game on the road = loss

me and Haak72 are going to meet up for the game, if anyone else here wants to meet up, send me a PM or something, I sent a few out....no obligations or anything.....

we really need to start a "Mike" chant during the game. :)

With the way this team has been playing, I'm fully confident that we can win out the rest of our schedule.

Here's something to ponder. IF Sacramento were to beat Denver (big IF), would you be happy getting the #2 seed but having to play Dallas in the first round?

If Houston wins out under that scenario, then the Blazers still get the #3 seed, but your point is taken. Dallas seems to have the Blazers' number this year.

uhh hell yeah?

Dallas doesn't have that much depth or talent but their small ball kills us and their arena is a house of horrors. Spurs or Hornets for me.
