I need to get a new putter. Anyone have one that they really like?

Thanks!

Too me the one putter is the club that no one should help you with but yourself. Everyone is way different when it comes to putters. Some like bellys, some like normals, some like them really heavy, some like them light, some like to see the single blade at the end, some like to see the big space stations at the end. It's all about feel. You could igve me a hundred putters including my own with my eyes shut and none of them would feel the same except for my own. Its perfect weight, grip, feel, look. But its probably the exact opposite of what you or anyone else need. I'd just go to the store and try out until you feel a good one. If it feels great, dont even look at another.

Or just get any club that one golfer uses... Tiger something or another? I forget his name.

Yeah I agree. Thought I'd ask anyways. thanks anyways!

I saw Phil's putter today, but he's been struggling with his putting, so I should probably avoid that particular putter:)

My brother golfs about 3 times a week and swears by his Odyssey putter. He even gave me one as a present and I must say it is great. I still suck at golf, but its not the putter's fault.

...very well said, this was always my advice to the members where I used to work

***I recently switched from using a fancy/expensive, perfectly balance mallet style putter to using an old 1970's blade style that says "PUTTER" on the bottom...I grabbed it from the lost-and-found and never looked back...it just FEELS better to me and it seems to roll the ball much smoother***

...Tiger has been using the very same putter for virtually his entire career, FWIW :pimp:

Look at the golfs!

A friend of mine who's a PGA pro (and -2 handicap) tells me "a putter is a putter."

He means that you should just get one that you feel comfortable with. No one brand of putter is going to magically make you into a better putter.

I golf about three times a month and I swear AT my putter.

I use an old school PING putter my grandpa gave me. 1st edition and it makes a ping noise when I hit the ball! I love it, but my boys make fun of me.

...don't EVER get rid of that club, it is a classic that could be worth some decent coin someday :pimp:

I've had a couple of my friends dad's offer to buy it from me for a few hundred bucks actually.

I have had the same Ping Pal manganese-bronze putter since I graduated from college. It has a great feel and I haven't found another putter I like better.

Here is mine
