I am looking to get a new car possibly today. Anyone know any good dealers on the west side?

most of them suck.

what kind of car?

don't go to Ron Tonkin, fucking blazers bandwagon bitch!

Although it's not local, I'm partial to Bill Rogers Honda in Albany. Of course, if you're not interested in a Honda they're probably not for you.

Had a shitty exp. with Beaverton Honda. It was back in the day though but they seemed like asshats (Bob Lamphere).

Nissan Dealer near Beaverton Mall were pretty helpful. didn't buy from them. the BMW next door place sucked.

I've had a good relationship with Jim Mannheimer at DeLon in Salem. He's been worth the trip.

Cool thanks for the advice! I am just looking for an upgrade for my kids to be more safe. I do like Hondas! But that is really far to drive.

I'll agree, but for a different reason. I've bought several new cars and Tonkin simply refuses to negotiate much. In the last 5 years I've bought 2 Ford F-150's, new, for under $12,000 (I negotiated for different people). All the Ford dealerships would negotiate except Tonkin. They were adamant I'd pay their full price or I could go away. I did. I also bought my wife a new Corolla recently (before the recall) and Vancouver Toyota was easy to negotiate with.

One good way to negotiate of you;re weak of spine is to send emails to the dealerships telling them exactly what you want and what will they offer it for. Makes it easier.

12K? holy shit, I should hire you to negotiate for me next time I want a car.

All car dealerships suck.

Buy used and save yourself a huge chunk of $$.

yup. Its such a gay process.

set the price then you have to sit in that room and go back and forth.

Isn't Government Motors having a fire sale?

Wait until gas prices rise in Summer, then buy a cheap SUV.

Buy used. Use Edmunds or Kelly bluebook as a thumb to negotiate a price.
Don't forget to use carfax just in case.

I have a good friend who is a GM in Bend. If you could take the drive, you could probably save a few $100

Yeah, thanks dude that BenDavis503 has on ignore. I'm sure he really appreciates your advice!

For Subarus I like dealing with Wentworth Subaru downtown - but for service - CARR and Royal Moore are both good.

I only buy new cars for my wife however, and she has been a Subaru driver since 1996 - so no real experience with other dealers. I just buy used cars for myself. (I buy my wife new cars because that way there is warranty and I do not need to deal with servicing them, leaving me more time to tend to my fleet of antique, cranky cars).

I just bought a used vehicle from Beaverton Toyota. Lifetime powertrain warranty. That's not bad.

You don’t have to leave out anything whenever you purchase a new automobile at a brand new vehicle dealership. You do not have to compromise anything on the list. The dealership also has to be willing to work with your specific needs. You can choose what you would like to be put in your automobile after selecting a simple model. The dealerships will grant all of your wishes. You can go to http://cardealexpert.com/city/TX/Dallas to get a brand new vehicle.
