Portland has been besieged with injuries—particularly knee injuries— since last season. But somehow they’ve managed to win.

The Blazers have won five straight, their longest winning streak of the season, to push their record to 25-20 and five games over .500, also a season high.

“We’ve got nothing to lose,” Wesley Matthews said Saturday night after the Blazers overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Indiana Pacers 97-92.

"Since last season"?

If only....

The article says nothing that we Blazer fans don't know, but it's useful to increase respect around the league, to say that we're really better than we show in the standings. It's an ego article.

I don't think we ARE better than we show in the standings. But it's still an impressive accomplishment to be 25-20 with all the injuries we've suffered.

Aldridge this past week through 4 games: 28.3pts, 52% FG, 10.3rebs, 2.3asts 1stl, 1blk, in about 43 mpg.

Oh, and he led the team to a 4-0 record.

He better get POW.
