Has anyone here ever had appendicitis? I have had a abdominal pains since last night. But, only if I breathe or move/bend. Started on the right side and that is where most the pain is still, though I can feel it all through my abdomen...though mostly right and center. Thats why I had the thought of appendicitis.

Feels crampy a bit though. Probably a stomach deal. My thought is its probably just gas/indigestion. I have passed gassed several times (excuse me) and that hasn't relieved it.

Its not completely excruciating though like I have heard with appendicitis. My dad had it when he was 40 and he was in immense pain that got worse and worse. Mine is staying about the same and I can relieve it by sitting or laying.

Damn CC, you need to call your doctor and make an appointment with him ASAP.

I dont know. I dont want to go into a hospital full of covid and have it turn out to be a stomachache.

I have none of the other symptoms of appendicitis except maybe a lack of appetite. No fever, nausea, diarrhea, or anything like that.

It could be a kidney stone. When mine was happening, it felt like someone was pouring hot lava in my mid section, and it was hard to breathe, move, stand, sit, do anything.

I always noticed it was worse when I inhaled deeply. Either way, no matter what it is, get it checked out.

I said your doctor, not going to the ER. Your doctor can order tests and then see if you need to come in and see him in his office.

the appendix is a lot closer to your center than to your right.

you still might be having appendicitis; you also might be having diverticulitis. Have you ever had a colonoscopy?

lot of options here though. Like other have said it could be a stone. Maybe a hernia

one of the possibilities on the right of your abdomen is a problem with your gall bladder.

but like Sly said....see your doctor asap

Yes, I have. Last year before my surgery for a Hiatal Hernia. It was clean.

I dont think its a lower hernia. I have done nothing that could cause that.

Yeah, its right and center....a diagonal from the top of my belly button down to the right.

I agree with @crandc It sounds like diverticulitis (which I have had several times). Have you been eating a lot of nuts, seeds etc? That would certainly cause it (or contribute). Try the BRAT (bananas, applesauce, rice and toast) diet for awhile. That will help if it is indeed diverticulitis. My wife just had her gall bladder removed recently but it was center chest and she thought she was having a heart attack. I was having chronic appendicitis 14 years ago (polyp on the opening to my appendix) and it felt very different from diverticulitis. If nothing else, the ER can run a blood test to see if you are fighting some kind of infection. That would certainly narrow it down.....

Lot of Jerky lately

CC....hate to say it but your menstrual cycle started late in life! Give up the jerky bro...it's like eating pure salt ...that can lead to kidney stones....don't try to wait it out...call your doctor ...if you go get a test take sanitizer and double mask...take a shower and wash what you're wearing when you get home... I had heart surgery July 2nd and covid was raging then too...I hope it's just acid indigestion though...good luck

in my experience, a kidney stone feels a lot like appendicitis feels a lot like a gallstone. I've only had each once, so not a lot of data.
a doc can figure out which pretty quick.

barfo

Go to a private quick care med response facility?

Sometimes if I need to take a shit real bad my gut hurts. Was this too graphic? Ah, too fucking bad.
When I was passing kidney stones I found some relief in a hot bath.
I believe the appendix is on the right side. Maybe a doctor is in order.

I have gone to the bathroom. Hasn't made it feel any better. No diarrhea either. Hot bath didnt do much either.

I feels like a stomach virus. I am going to keep an eye on it for now. If it gets worse I will call the dr

If you start pissing blood prob a kstone.
God Damn, you have to bring up those hellish memories. Have you ever hurt so bad that you had to throw up? Yeah, tell me about it.

Yes. Sharp pain, lower right side. If you don't take care of it, your appendix can burst and you could die.

Unfortunately, I have been in the hospital twice during Covid, once for three nights. Scary yes, but actually, I left thinking that it's just about the safest place to be; these amazing doctors and nurses and staff know what they are doing and how to stay safe.

These guys might be overdoing it because not being too much of a dick should be enough to save your balls, but anyways...

I was taught that when kicked in the balls grunt hard while holding your breath but do not go down no matter how much it hurts. A hard grunt will block some of the pain.
