Yeah, I don't know about that... that region has its own autonomy.
If you go down, you're gonna regret it. I was taught that in the Army and again in Tai Kwon Do and guess what. It made sense. Do not, do not, do not go down.

I had appendicitis at age 12. Was fine all day then at night i had immense pain. Threw up that night and morning. Mom took me in and they immediately knew i had appendicitis. Had emergency laproscopic surgery that day. My appendix burst as soon as they took it out. Had to clean some insides because it burst.

Don't mess around and go get checked now. It could be minor for you but If i would have waited any longer i could have died.

Has anyone here ever had appendicitis? I have had a abdominal pains since last night. But, only if I breathe or move/bend. Started on the right side and that is where most the pain is still, though I can feel it all through my abdomen...though mostly right and center. Thats why I had the thought of appendicitis.

Feels crampy a bit though. Probably a stomach deal. My thought is its probably just gas/indigestion. I have passed gassed several times (excuse me) and that hasn't relieved it.

Its not completely excruciating though like I have heard with appendicitis. My dad had it when he was 40 and he was in immense pain that got worse and worse. Mine is staying about the same and I can relieve it by sitting or laying.

When I was in my late-40's, I woke up one morning with a bad stomach/abdominal ache. I thought it was something I ate, but the ache got worse and worse, to the point of excruciating pain. My wife had left for the morning, so I said that's it and drove myself to the ER. Well, they admitted me, the doc checked me over and over and then resigned himself to saying all he could think it was was a had stomach flu, or such.

Then, he say's wait a second and had me lie flat on my back with my feet dangling over the table. Oddly, he then began to smack the bottom of my heels with his fist. At that point he said, "we're admitting you." It was determined that I had a perforated appendix and had surgery right then and there. It was the strangest experience. Glad he caught it. Otherwise, obviously, would have been life-threatening.

@Chris Craig

get to the doctor. Dont mess around. Ill never forget being in jr high and my father was driving to my mothers i nSeattle for summer vaca. He had an upset stomach when we left. Half way back home on his trip after dropping me off he had to pull over and call for help.
Doctors said if he tried to just ride the pain out, it would have killed him. Appendicitis.

You had appendicitis and he was an apparent masochist. How else could you explain the satisfaction that he got from smashing your body with his fist?

Yeah, I'm calling my doctor this morning. The pain is still there. Hasn't gotten any better. Hasn't gotten worse though either

Yes I have. Lay on your back flat. Try to raise your right leg up straight. If you can’t, it’s probably your appendix

I don't think I could do that, and I don't even have an appendix.

I had diverticulitis earlier this year. Aside from abdominal pain, I also developed a fever... I ended up staying in the hospital for two nights hooked up to antibiotics before I was released. Whatever it is, I’m glad you’re taking the initiative of having it looked at.

Appendicitis was just an answer on Jeopardy

Can't be too bad if they said you can wait till Friday

The doctor wanted me to get the catscan within a day or 2 at the most. Friday was the soonest I could get in to get a catscan. It hasn't gotten worse or I would have gone to the ER. But, its been the same and its a bitch.

Hopefully it’s not gastrointestinal issues.

I had to have my large intestine removed in 2010. It was shitty

Damn. Sorry man. You gotta use a c bag now? That sucks.

It feels like it might be possibly intestinal, but more like my appendix or pancreas...could also have to do with hiatal hernia surgery I had last year

No colostomy bag. Had one for about 6 months before they gave me a J pouch which is internally.

Was in the hospital for 2 months and had 4 surgeries though so it was pretty intense.

Definitely should go see a gastro specialist if things persist.

But yeah the hernia might be the culprit.

I dont think its acute appendicitis...I would be dead by now probably

But it could be chronic appendicitis. A few years ago I had a CT. They found I had an appendicolith though my appendix was borderline stable, and they decided not to mess with it.

Going to get a catscan later today

Sorry Sly that its not called a dogscan

Okay, it's later in the day, 12:43 to be exact. So, what's the doc say?

Stop making me laugh, it hurts. Catscan is at 3:45
Okay, got to kill time until then. What to do, what do, just can't decide so I'm going to use my usual escape mode and take a nap. Hey, I'm old and God knows I can use all the beauty rest my sorry ass can use. Good night.

Probably won't know the results for awhile after, unless its really bad

Can you livestream the catscan here? There's precious little entertainment now on days that Rudy isn't giving a press conference.
