Not by conviction, he really is the type of player I said we should bring and I really think he's a very good signing.

Now with him, project pat and Napier we have enough backups for the guard positions

Now I think we're set. We could still use a package of Davis, Aminu and Vonleh to bring another player but we could also keep them and have them earn their minutes. I think between the rookies Swanigan would get more minutes while Collins would play less the first year, I think (or at least hope) Meyers would play better. I think the Crabbe trade not only saved us money but opened up playing time in the SF position and our backcourt is stronger with the addition of Goodwin. So I think we're set

Neil seems o have a knack for finding diamond in the rough type players that are low risk high reward type guys that turn out to be pretty good pick ups. I am not super impressed with his drafting frankly, but on signings like this he seems to do a pretty good job so I am intrigued by this signing.
