Do you have a favorite team? Or maybe you just watch it because there is nothing else on.

How much does Denny pay you to do this?

I just can't watch the Girls National Basketball Association. Maybe if they played it in lingere.....

He is fat. You should say, "A lot of them look like HCP, but without tits."

That's even worse.

I've got better things to do than watch WNBA games.

Like developing colon polyps.

Could I care less?????? No, no I could not.

Wait....

I actually could care less I suppose, if I accidentally turned to a game and Griner was playing I might watch. So if she quit the league I would care even less.

bodyman nailed it, i guess i would watch griner for a few minutes. i honestly cant name another player in the league though

Mario Dude retired right?

Haha auto correct for Margo Dydek. Might as well be Mario Dude.

I like movies. Real ones. The WNBA is like Sharknado to me. Technically a movie, and maybe funny at times but I mostly rolled my eyes when my girl made me watch it. Sharknado that is.

i think its funny when they make a big deal out of a dunk happening once every 5 years. and the lady is always like 6'7"

I think they should lower the hoop by 6 inches or even a foot. Why not add some more dunking?

I've always thought that myself. 10" was the distance I arbitrarily came up with. Actually, it wasn't arbitrary; it was based on my assumption that women are on average about 8% shorter than men. Shrink everything in the women's game by that same percentage, and it might be interesting.

Title 9 would make public playgrounds and school gyms convert half of all baskets to the new height.

The billions of dollars would become a Democrat-Republican issue.

Denny would post that women's basketball is an illusion because last August was the coldest ever in Punxstahenny, Pennsylvania.

Sly would call me a conspiracist every week for saying that all polls have always shown that the vast majority say the Warren Commission was wrong about Margo Dydek's death.

Because of this thread I'm watching the Sparks vs. Mercury, and it's not bad at all. Just don't expect top-50 men's college quality. Good stuff.

ok, make it 12 to account for vertical leap difference and you have an even 9 feet.

I haven't seen WNBA for a few years. Most of my viewing was in the league's first 2 years. Tonight I caught the 2nd half. Notes:

Players are taller than I remember. These tough broads put out effort. More tattoos now. I don't know their names. TV should flash names, and heights, to impress us.

Magic Johnson and Rick Fox are there.

In years past, the league had 1) average talent level for a men's college team (i.e. 1000th out of 2000 teams in the nation) but 2) effort level way above college level, similar to NBA or D-League, with sharp moves and explosion. Tonight, I see no change in that.

More missed shots in this game than I remember.

Players: Women on TV always try to look pretty. I like this league because I'm watching something different, women hard at work. But after the game, they're cute when they loosen their tied-back hair and change their clothes.

Coaches: Stern's influence has them in vomit-inducing skirts, high heels, nylons, and conservative curled hair. Sitting coaches freeze their nyloned legs together, while players sit naturally like athletes. Fat Stern looks best in a suit, so he forces others to dress like dorks.

The famous Griner is 2 inches taller than her 6-5 opponent, and much wider than that popsicle stick freak. She should bully and dominate. Her eyes are intense like Robin Lopez because she thinks like a leader.

It isn't that women can't play some good ball, they can. It's more that they can't play at the rim and shoot a lot of set shots from the 3. I just don't find it exciting.

Now, to be fair, I prefer watching womens soccer over the mens.

On second thought, I overstated the effort. You see that much effort in European leagues and most of the 2000 college programs.

If they all weren't so thin, they'd be much better players.
