Nice rivalry match-up right now between the Rattlers and Blaze. Arizona leading by 12 at halftime and playing much better D than last week.
 
Damn, damn, damn!!! I have been such a jinx the past month. I talked about their D in the first half and then Utah comes out with a great 2nd half and steal it from the Rattlers. The Rattlers were in control of the whole game and were about to go 4-0 all-time against Utah until the Blaze recovered an onside kick and then scored at the end. Losses like this suck! Wendall Gaines was a beast on D and Bonner had another great game...this team just couldn't get it done in the end and have started off yet another season badly. You watch the game, redneck?
 
Oh, I forgot to mention the FIVE missed PAT's by Kral. He's usually a very good kicker so I forgive him, but wth is that, really? That was the game right there.
 
I'm watching the game now, it was delayed because of the Jazz game. I'm starting to really like this league, its really fun. though I do wish there was some actual Defense being played.
 
Well defense isn't played much but stops are very important so you appreciate them a lot in this league. I am pissed off beyond belief....I can't believe they let the win slip away.

I went to the Colorado Crush/Arizona Rattlers game tonight. Crush won baby! I know a player on the team (Brad Pyatt, wide reciever). Good game, but god damn the last minute took forever. They had about 16 tries from two yards away to get in the end zone and they finally did. Gay ass penalties. :angry:At least we won though.

Yeah the last minute of the half and game do take forever.Blaze take on Nashville on Sunday, is Nashville any good? seriously I just started watching this sport like 2 weeks ago.
 
Go look at arenafootball.com. I'm pissed the Rattlers lost a 3rd straight close game, especially with Bonner playing so well.
 
The Blaze killed Grand Rapids last night, like 83 to 41.
 
Congrats, looks like you guys have a contender this year maybe...The Rattlers finally won a game. They beat the Gladiators by like 27. Bonner with 6 TD's and no INT's. He is playing so great even at such an old football age...I think he's the best AFL QB, ever. Hopefully this win is the start of a winning streak because after that cruddy start it's really needed.
 
How bout them Blazer?! 4-1 after their win last sunday. I think the prediction of them winning the title may be right.

Danny White is an AFL god! I'm pissed...the Rattlers just haven't been able to finish out games and on top of that there's a streak of 5 or 6 games not televised.

So is Philly, but they started off the season hot last year and that didn't get them anywhere. They just blew up in the end so lets see if they can continue this.Rattlers have had the opportunities to be at 5-0 right now, but they just haven't finished games strong. 1-4 looks bad, but if they can get their sh*t together they are not far off from a playoff spot.

My gym teacher played for the Firebirds one season :winkglasses: I like to watch the AFL but it's always on at the same times as the NBA :no1:
 
ASUfan22, are you watching the Blazer-Rattlers? they're just scoring at will.
 
No, it's not on TV, which really ticks me off. There hasn't been a game on TV for a long time, but I think there'll be more starting next week. The Rattlers have really dropped off, but I'll try to catch more games, even with the NBA playoffs starting.
 
oh that sucks. It's live here, usually the Blaze games are shown after the game is over.BTW, it's 41-34 Blazer with 53 second left and the Blazer have the ball, they've done back-to-back onside kicks and recovered them both.
 
Ugh, that's terrible that we couldn't recover 2 of them. I'll follow it in the live box score as I'm watching the Diamondbacks. I wish we still had Danny White, who's alma mater is ASU.

Wait, how is it 48-48? Didn't Utah have a 2 TD lead with 1 min left? What happened?
 
AZ got a TD, than Utah went for a feild goal and missed, and it got run back.Rattlers up 69-62 in the 4th, plus they have the ball.
 
That's the excitement of the Arena game. I remember a game last year, I thought we were just in huge trouble. We were losing by 17, then we score and our kickoff hits the goal post and lands in play, one of our guys picks it up and runs in for a TD. That got me excited.Bonner looks like he's having another outstanding game.
 
They actually won a game :shok: I almost forgot what a win felt like
