Optimist's take: I'm going to have to work weekends all through October, so it's good the games are all meaningless now, and I won't miss them.

Under Chip Kelly, Mariota used to make plays based off of what he saw and reacted to; Now he's totally a robot and yes, again, with a clear conscious and with out-a-doubt absolutly blame Helfrich and Frost for a lack of learning Chip Kelly's philosophy and play calling.

That's not Mariota's fault and it's cherry picking if any on else thinks otherwise.
 
UCLA is going to kill them next week. Season over. Just a crap game in so many facets.....mind blowingly bad plays.
 
I feel sorry for Washington. You know he's hurting...bad.
 
Under Chip Kelly we also lost crucial close games due to undisciplined players. He was no god.
 
HCP was at the game. I blame him for this!
 
Wow. We better start looking over our coaching staff. This O-line cannot beat UCLA or Stanford. No way in hell.

And Pellum better have the D disciplined for next week. This is terrible
 
Well that sucked. Time to go get drunk. Have fun being an assistant again somewhere else Helfrich, dont let the door hit you on the way out.
He wont be fired until we officially miss the playoffs though.

He was a damn good coach.

Coach Kelly made sure to be a players coach and inspired them to run through walls for him. Helfrich is a boosters coach and makes sure to motivate them with lack of playing time.

While they are closly nit, they are so completely different.

Is it possibly that our boosters got too crowned up over nothing?
 
No idea why Mariota doesn't take off more. He just sits in the pocket when there are open lanes to pick up yards. Then he holds the ball too long.

Overall the coaching is shit.
 
Checking in from the east coast. That sucked. Goodnight. But LOLOLOL at calling kids playing a game "pussies" check priorities in life, that's all I got for that.

Mark Helfrich and his coordinators should be gone after this season. I know it sounds spoiled to scoff at 9-10 win seasons but with this level of talent on the team.. We should be a lot better. Maybe uncle Phil can open up his pockets and buy a coach who can right the ship. Jon Gruden would be dope but highly unlikely.
