...hate to be "a weird pessimist" again, but I still don't see ARod making it out of ST...the Yanx will simply have to eat his salary and hope to recoup it via the insurance policy.
...at this point anyway, they are obligated to pay him anyway. But if he cannot perform well enough to justify tying up a roster spot, they should just part ways with him and give that roster spot to someone more deserving.
I don't care to see A-Roid on any MLB field again, and if he hit 30 hr's, which we know that will NEVER HAPPEN, I for one would not so much as clap, rather boo til my vocal chords tore.....I'd sit in my seat, and try to get a dugout seat, sneak in a bottle and shatter it over his head. The jail time, would be more than worth it, I doubt the Yanx would press charges, only MLB. But then the post jail time, would be more than worth it, with all the News Channels and talk show invites....which could pay off nice and pretty. Don't get me wrong, my motto for 30 years has been: "let compassion be your moral compass, through this chaotic fkd up world." But with A-Roid, I ran out of sympathy after his 03 debacle.
His handwritten apology reminds me of some shit I've seen in grade school. But then Alex's mind is still in grade school.
I've never wanted on athlete to fail so much as Alex in my life. He's fkd over every Sports Fan, Team, other Athletes while making a mockery out of the game we love the most.
I never wish ill on anyone other than Alex. I don't buy his charades prior and now asking for forgiveness, once a cheat always a cheat, yet he proved that much right, one too many times.
