...if you really wanna split hairs, ARod is closer to 40 than he is to 39. And this "rest" that you point to can also be look upon as time away from the game. He was a strike out machine when he last played the game in 2013 and you don't improve on that by simply "resting" for 17 freaking months.

...and technically he's been "resting" since 2010.

#13 will Strike Out more than he will have Hits.......Alex has always been a sucker, moreso than most others, to go out on a limb, trying to swat at that low outside gopher killer pitch. While only trying to hit that outside low pitch to RF, approx once in every 200 chances, or K's by trying to hit, something he can't even reach.
