The last one, sure. Injuries definitely can reduce players to liabilities. The 2015 Finals, I disagree. He played very well--his "struggles" were massively overhyped, IMO. Also, Curry plays much better defense than Parker. Parker used to be a good defender, but he's slowed too much with age.

The other thing with Curry is that he has huge "gravity." Even when he's struggling, defenses are throwing several defenders in his direction to prevent him from getting open shots. Parker doesn't get that kind of respect on his shot because defenses know he's not a consistently good shooter.

Eh Curry had just as many shit games as he did good games in the 15 finals.
Regular season MVP, only to lose finals MVP to a bench player.
Parker doesn't get that kind of respect no, but Pop wouldn't allow Parker to go 2-15 in one game from three.
Think he'd either get benched after the 3rd brick, or the TV would pan to Pop going full WWE on Parker with a chair and telling him to go back to France.

Couple years ago Parker did get the the attention from defenses a #1 option on offense deserves though.

Tony Parker lit up Curry in 2013 playoffs. I know it was 4 years ago but he was putting up 40+.

Yeah and in 2013, Tony Parker was an all star who averaged 20.3 ppg, 7.6 apg and had a PER of 23.0.

He'll turn 35 next week and isn't nearly the same player he was 4 years ago. This year, he averaged 10.1 ppg, 4.5 apg with a PER = 13.0.

But, he was having a good post season. So, losing him definitely hurts, even if he's not the player he once was.

Manu had a bit of a turn back the clock game the other night, but he's also gone scoreless five times in 11 play off games. The guy is almost 40 and looks like he's only good for one decent game per series.

Even if SAS gets past HOU, I really don't think they stand a chance against GWS. The Warriors just have too many weapons. They can have two, or even three, of their top players have an off night, and still beat you. The Spurs need to have Kawhi healthy and playing at his best to even take one game against the Warriors.

Yeah, four years ago Curry was a worse defender and Parker was a better offensive player. Four years is a long time.

Bradley is going to get PAID this off season. If his shoulder problems are behind him then he will be worth the contract he gets.

He is still under $8M contract for next season.

I thought he had a PO
He doesn't. Going to get close to a max or even max in 2018 though. Boston will have both him and IT expiring that year, and they will probably draft a guard this season so I guess he (or IT) could go.

...Choke Harden hasn't even attempted a shot yet (about 3 mins into 2 qtr) LOL!

1-2 FG, 5 points and 5 TOV @ the half. Total no show.

Spurs missing Kawhi and Tony Parker, but up 19 on the road.

This is the difference between a Mike D'Antoni coached team and a Gregg Popovich coached team.

This could be his best clutch performance ever, gotta give him credit.

Kinda awesome seeing Houston get knocked out on their home floor. Too bad the Spurs will likely be demolished by GSW.

With small men draped on him. His performance years ago was FAR more impressive.

LA's numbers are nice tonight. He DOMINATED back then.
But tonight he is doing it in a series clinching game; back then it seems he was great the first couple games and then fell off some.
