I wonder where they will put the Lakers on that list.

I don't see how the Lakers don't throw every draft pick they have available at the Pacers to get this shit done but let's hope they don't.

THT, Hield, LBJ, AD and Turner would be a much better starting lineup than the one they got their last ring with. They also have some decent bench pieces. So yeah, let this shit stay dead.

Tired of teams bailing them out all the time. Let them stew in the shit pile they created.

If I'm Brooklyn I agree to that deal ASAP!

A 25 year old star vs a 34 year old supermax declining player, injured half the time, who is forcing his way to his 4th team?

I'd probably prefer Brown to Durant straight up for most NBA teams, but Boston would also give up multiple picks?
Yeah, if you're planning on keeping Simmons then a guy that operates off the ball on offense as well as Brown would be ideal, along with the fact that they were born the same year.

Well sure I guess that could be true, but if Simmons never becomes a starting level NBA player again and is out of the league Brown is better for them too. Flip Kryie for some assets,

Simmons sounds more like Nick Anderson than Grant Hill from what I gather. Hill was able to become a quality role player well into his latter years, I'm not sure Simmons has that same potential.

Last I checked he missed last season and before that he was at three straight all star games.

But Boston's picks to offer would be terrible right? Like high 20s? Do they have any attractive picks?

I would hate to see how good Boston would be with KD. God the blazers are depressing as fuck . ZERO reason for excitement. A rookie that hasnt played a lick of nba style ball. sorry that aint exciting.

They would be. Brooklyn insisting on a ton of picks is just pride at this point. "If Gobert was worth X, then Durant needs to return X-plus or else we'll look bad".

PS--you already look bad!! Screw pride; do what's best for your franchise.

Well sure, but he also makes 40 million dollars, can't hit a jump shot, and is a mentally weak competitor. He has a track record of poor work ethic all the way back to college. Now he is coming off an extensive back surgery after sitting out and resting for a whole year.

Plenty of young players were all stars in their mid 20's until they weren't and never get back to that level.

Could Simmons get back to that level? Sure in theory. But it seems much more likely he is never the same player, and might have even been a bit over hyped in his prior weak eastern conference "all star" seasons.

I am convinced it will be Boston . Brown has bitched about fans being disloyal to him etc because of the focus on Tatum. After these rumors his bags will be packed.

yes Brown has already tweeted about it fyi.

It shocks me the Celtics are entertaining this, they were the NBA title favorites. Durant might hurt their chances.

Browns had plenty of injury issues as well.

I see Brown as a perfect number 2, not a team's best player. I don't see how the Nets get better doing a trade for Brown unless it's super juicy with other players including Smart, and Williams. And of course picks.

This is the deal I wanted for Dame.

I feel like we need to know what Ant is going to do first. Can he be a star PG of a team that plays even better without Dame? If he doesn't have the potential to be a top starter on a title team I'm not sure it makes sense to pair him with Brown. Brown is a win now player, you move Dame off this team and put only Brown in his place don't we have the same exact lack of contention talent issues as now but just extended a couple years down the road? If the team is trading away Dame it probably makes more sense to rebuild with picks and raw players a number of years away from peaking.

But if trading away Dame paves the way for elite success from Ant, and we add Brown, plus some others assets to get a 3rd starter maybe it would make sense for that type of trade.

From everything I've ever heard about Tarantino films, I don't think they'd be my cup of tea.
They're not everyone's cup of tea for sure. I didn't care for Kill Bill. It's too offbeat. Pulp Fiction is OK, but it's got so much cruelty, it's hard to watch at times. I do love Django Unchained. I love seeing dirt bags get toasted.
