If it's a S&T Turner likely going to BKN, no?

IMO Turner would be a better fit in Phoenix than Ayton.
I like this option for the Suns.

Blazer fans have convinced themselves that Myles Turner is someone he isn't. Extremely mediocre. I remember years ago when people kept bringing up Marvin Williams as if he would be our savior. The Suns losing Ayton for Turner is a numerous steps down from where they are now. No question.

he's an expiring contract. i think if Myles Turner on the last year of his deal is all they get for Ayton, that's a disaster for Phoenix (and great for us). Indiana has been actively shopping Turner for years.
 
Turner is a good big man when he's healthy....he's just not healthy very much

Nope. Not at all. Sheed didn’t have the drive to be the man. He consistently paid the fine rather than work out in the weight room. His teammates loved him and he was immensely talented but the guy just didn’t have the mindset to be the best player in the league, which is sad because he definitely had the ability to be that guy.

Nobody else seems interested, so I'll just tell you.
Magic, Bird, Jordan, Hakeem, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Steph--one of those 9 has participated in every NBA finals series since 1980, except the two I listed.

geeeezuz 42 years > 9 players

maybe the NBA should double the size of the court and expand it to 9 players starting. Just don't add a 4-pont line for charisakes

I am all aboard with making the court bigger. Was hoping maybe they could move the 3 point line back a bit?

Honestly, remove Bird and Shaq from that list and you really only lose 2 other series' ('81 and '06). So 7 stars have participated in 39 of 43 finals series.

Lebron--10 (07, 11-18. 20)
Magic--9 (80, 82-85, 87-89, 91)
Kobe--7 (00-02, 04, 08-10)
Jordan--6 (91-93, 96-98)
Duncan--6 (99, 03, 05, 07, 13-14)
Curry--6 (15-19, 22)
Hakeem--3 (86, 94-95)

This is why you honestly are better off just accumulating draft picks and playing for the lottery. You have a better chance of winning a title of you happen to luck into a generational talent like LeBron or Durant. Would Steph be on this list if not for Steve Kerr? Like... would Mark Jackson have taken them to the promised land?

With as many of those Championships as Kerr has been a part of i would give him some credit. I'm not even sure exactly how many rings he has?

First we had Magic, Hakeem and Jordan for 19/20 finals

After that we had Duncan, Kobe, Lebron, and Curry for 20/23 finals

Duncan is the only one to beat all others of his era in the playoffs, even if you add Shaq.

I think it's 17/19, and then 22/24, but still, the point stands.
