He does run the offense but when he comes against a smaller faster PG that gets him turning the ball over they take the ball out of his hands bringing it up court.OK...Dallas' starting lineups throughout his career would indicate that he most certainly is, but OK...

So if Dame and GP2 play together and GP2 guards Steph Curry, does that make Dame a SG?sorry....I'm a strong believer in the 'you are what you defend rule', and Doncic never defends PG's. Jalen Brunson started 61 games for Dallas last season and he sure wasn't a C

So you aren't gonna answer?oh look!...It's Nikola Jokic, the PG
So you aren't gonna answer?
It isn't goofy. Setting up the offense and handling the ball is often something a PG does.LOL...answer what? your goofy question?
Dame played with Mo Harkless and sometimes Harkless guarded the opposing PG. That did not make Dame a SF and Harkless a PG. Blazers have played the Warriors several times when Klay guarded Dame and Curry guarded CJ or Harkless. But that didn't make Curry the SG or SF.
Dame has spent most of his NBA career guarding PG's. Some situational circumstances when the defense is altered does not change Dame's position. On the other hand, Doncic has spent almost none of his career guarding PG's. That is a fundamental difference that separates Doncic from the other 4 players in that picture
Did Magic always guard PG's?
DO NOT say Stauskas 3 times, whatever you do. On the 3rd recitation of his name, he will be summoned from the scrub void and haunt you with wild and out of control dribble drives and copious block-shaped masonry.
I also envisioned a movie when I wrote the original post, but got lazy. Mine basically boiled down to "Shitty Beetlejuice".Now I want to make a thriller/horror movie called Stauskas. Lead character's name is Vivek who can't stop saying "Stauskas" three times when he sees a mirror. Stauskas appears awkwardly at family dinners dribbling a basketball wildly. The sound is very distracting.
I thought I said he’d want out by the trade deadline.Dame has been healthy for 9 NBA seasons. They Blazers only have finished below .500 in 2 of those seasons, which were Lillard's rookie season and a year in which three starters missed significant time due to injury.
History suggests a team led by a healthy Damian Lillard will be above .500, but then again, you acted like he'd want out if the Blazers didn't trade the 7th pick.
You are correct sir!I thought I said he’d want out by the trade deadline.
I’ll go a step further, we use the pick and keep the player, Dame is good as gone by the trade deadline. We don’t have time in Dame’s window to bring in more young guys.
It isn't goofy. Setting up the offense and handling the ball is often something a PG does.
You saying it only applies to who someone defends and taking out the offensive side of the ball is what is goofy.
Doncic is a Point Forward. He plays PG on offense more often than not.
Did Magic always guard PG's?
Nice find my guy. The bones kid is always trying to stir shit up.You are correct sir!
sorry....I'm a strong believer in the 'you are what you defend rule'
Bird was a Point Forward. James is a Point Forward. Jokic is Point Center. Luka is Point Guard. It's not really up for debate. The man was on the All NBA Team as a guard. So to the NBA, he is officially a Point Guard.your argument seems to be that the primary ball-handler and facilitator is the PG....meaning, by your logic, Larry Bird was a PG; Lebron is a PG; Jokic is a PG...unless of course they are simply front court players who control the ball and direct the offense...just like Doncic.

After signing an extension... right. For someone who knows Dame, you apparently don't know Dame.I thought I said he’d want out by the trade deadline.
Are you going to be a man and own up to this when you're wrong?Nice find my guy. The bones kid is always trying to stir shit up.
Cute you didn't respond to the Magic question. I'll leave you to it though since you're the only one arguing your side now.

“Shaedon Sharpe is a Canadian guard, who was recruited by Kentucky but forwent college eligibility to enter the NBA draft, where he was picked 7th overall by Portland. He occasionally wore Nike Kyrie 6s while warming the bench in UK.”I wonder what brand signs Sharpe. I predict Nike.
Btw, when is training camp? Is the WNBA all we got this summer, basketball-wise?
Now we all know why Dame unfollowed him!“Shaedon Sharpe is a Canadian guard, who was recruited by Kentucky but forwent college eligibility to enter the NBA draft, where he was picked 7th overall by Portland. He occasionally wore Nike Kyrie 6s while warming the bench in UK.”

Then I'll be unfollowing him as well. You don't get much say in brand of shoes when you're suited up for an athletic department sponsored by one of the big ones. That has little impact on what his choice might be as a pro.
I predict he'll be reppin' Good Feet.
You never do. Just ask JinxSpeed. HA!Are you going to be a man and own up to this when you're wrong?
