they've been beaten 17 times in the 35 games since the trade. 18-17 doesn't look unbeatable

and in his first 3 seasons, Zion has played in exactly 4 more games than Greg Oden did in his first 3 seasons.
18-17 is a giant step in the right direction considering they started 1-13.

Man, Stotts would not allow 3 rookies in there at the same time in a playoff must win game. Respect to Willie Green

Oh man...CJ getting doubled and ripped in crunch time may be the play that loses this game for them.

Wow--HUGE pay by Nance. Did not expect to see him blow by Ayton like that

Unless he really commits to losing weight, Zion will not last long in the NBA. That body will not endure long NBA seasons.

Really not interested in him. We don’t really need a backup Center that sucks defensively, is immobile, but can kinda shoot the ball.

We need defensive minded players, in my opinion that can defend the rim, run the PnR, rebound. Not Aldridge.

Who also has injury/hip issues.
He "kinda" shot the ball at a true shooting percentage of 60.4%, the highest of his career, on 10 shot attempts per game this season.

In his summary , Charles Barkley says Brandon Ingram showed he is a star. Congratulates David Griffin for the rookies on the team.
No mention of CJ McCollum.

Man I can’t believe we just made the Pelicans even better what a garbage Gm we have

And he still got benched because he was that bad defensively. Go look at what Steve Nash said about him.

He also played in half the games, so I don’t care about his “10 shots per game” and high true shooting percentage.

He sucks now.

there is a reason he didn’t even play for a team that got swept in the playoffs.

And he’s… Benedict Aldridge. Who wants him.

So nice seeing CJ be someone else's problem. The best player in the trade was Josh Hart.
Don't kid yourself, CJ was the best player in that deal... because the pick didn't convey we got fucking killed in the trade and I like Hart but if Nance is healthy Hart might actually be the third best player in that trade... I'm not saying he is but it's close.

CJ definitely tightens up in the playoffs and has pretty much his whole career with a few exceptional games. This series though he had to go against CP3 and even though CJ wasn't hitting a ton he kept teams from collapsing on Ingram and that allowed the series to be competitive. Add Zion to that if he can ever stay healthy and whoever they get with the Lakers pick and CJ is a good vet to be leading them if Willie Green can drill it through CJ's thick skull that he is not the best scorer on the team and needs to have better shot selection.

Like I said, glad that he's gone but he's a very good ball player and we didn't get enough for him. For the record he is much better than Hart.

CJ's Shooting:
FG%: 39% (approx 5% below his POR playoff avg)
3PT%: 33% (5% below POR playoff avg)
FT%: 69% (8% below POR playoff avg)

I think Hart is better.

The Jazz just looks like they are lacking that killer instinct they had a couple years ago.

Bye Bye Utah… time to re-build

Yeah, they started off strong and then just fell apart. And they really did not have that many injuries either other than Joe. 3 guys played 70+ games and another 5 guys played 60+.
