How the hell are the Celtics not destroying the Bucks without Middleton.

Middleton is arguably the 3rd or 4th best player (Giannis, Tatum, Brown) and easily the Bucks second best player.
In this game they had a 14-point lead then forgot how to defend Milwaukee's 3-point shooters. At the end, for some reason, Marcus Smart became their go-to guy. I don't know what the hell he was thinking on the last possession where Jayson Tatum was completely open and waving his hand (Wesley Matthews had fallen twice and was on his face) while Smart continued to dribble right at Jrue Holiday.
I don't blame Smart. If he's that bad he should never have been put in that situation if you have two super stars Brown and Tatum.

Two of the threes were by Giannis. I don't think they forgot how to guard him. They want him to take those shots and Giannis delivered.

Nobody should get to do whatever they want just because they won something.

And I'm saying this as a general statement.
Jesus, he was singing and dancing. Not punching people in the face for fucks sake. Use some logic.

You didn’t watch the game. Jrue hit the game tying 3 and the game winning block and steal. He is the only person 25 years to get a steal and block in the last 10 seconds of a playoff game. He was the difference in winning the championship last year. Giannis was back to back MVP but couldn’t win the title until Jrue got there. There’s more to winning than shooting.
I didn’t say Jrue Holiday is a bad player. I said he’s not better than Middleton.

Your argument is essentially the same as, “Marcus Smart is better than Jaylen Brown (if JB were to get injured) because he plays defense and did something that hasn’t happened in 20 years. Ignore the fact that he can’t shoot!”

This was my issue with Scalma(?) I think wanting to trade for Smart for defense.

The dude has some absolutely questionable offensive habits, starting with the fact that he doesn’t play within his own limits. He will shoot 10 3’s even though he’s a garbage shooter. And one of them might be at the end of the game. Dude is a defensive nightmare. But kinda reminds me of Tony Allen, but at least TA didn’t shoot a billion 3s or try and be Superman.

Also, that does seem like poor coaching but Ime has proved to be a solid coach.

Unbelievable. You’re completely delusional if you actually think that.

sometimes it seems eric goes into full-on-hyper-insane-as-shit-troll-mode when his hot-takes would be over-the-top even if he was riding in the back of Ken Kesey's bus sniffing glue while sitting on a Maui-Wowie suppository

Multi-time NBA champion. He can do whatever he wants.

If it was Game 7, sure it might be different.

Why does Draymond live rent free in so many peoples noggins? Lol
I just think he looked like an idiot. He can do whatever he wants, but not without criticism.

You obviously didn't watch the game last night.
Don’t need to watch the game to know that if Boston offered Tatum for Jrue … or Philly offered Embiid for Jrue, the bucks would say yes. Really, really fast. Or LeBron for Jrue.

They’d also say yes to dame in a heartbeat.

i can’t believe I’m actually responding to this non sense

Philly is wilting right now. Tobias Harris sure isn't worth 36M/year in this game

Jesus, he was singing and dancing. Not punching people in the face for fucks sake. Use some logic.

It had nothing to do with what he did.

I just believe nobody should do what they want because they won something. I was disagreeing with your statement, not the action.

I didn't think that was so hard to discern. I even said "in general".

Itll be okay man.

You didn’t watch the game.

The Heat are just stiffling what the Sixers can do and the Sixers are not taking the Heat out of their offensive game.

I did watch the game and they would pretty obviously trade Jrue for a bunch of different guys in the league straight up and there are even more trade packages they would take. I don't think they're going to be shopping the guy because I don't think his trade value is as high as his worth to them as a team but if his trade value were higher he'd be gone in a heartbeat.

I’m thinking Josh Hart will do for us to a degree what Butler does for Miami.
Hart has been the fifth or sixth man on teams that don't make the playoffs his entire career (try to find his postseason stats but you'll have a hard time because he doesn't have any) but next year he'll be Jimmy fucking Butler?!? Those are some homer glasses. Maybe I missed the green font and if I did I'm sorry... if I didn't it's time for a reality check.

Hart is scrappy and push’s the ball probably our brst defender. He could easily start alongside Dame.
I said to a degree.
