What's he rattling on about? We've had days with no games and it's been annoying. The second Saturday of the playoffs, no games at all. It was ridiculous.

You have Vegas and Minnesota in the same division. I HATE that. I'd rather Minnesota go east and divide it like this:Well you add two teams to the west. Then move a west team to the eastern conference (probably Memphis). Then add another division in each conference and have four team conferences rather than the 5 team conferences we have now, to even things up.
Something like:
Western Conference
Northwest Division:
Portland Trail Blazers
Seattle
Sacramento Kings
Utah Jazz
Pacific Division:
Los Angeles Lakers
Los Angeles (Inglewood) Clippers
Golden State Warriors
Phoenix Suns
Central Division:
Denver Nuggets
Minnesota Twolves
Las Vegas
Oklahoma City Thunder
Southwest Division:
San Antonio Spurs
Dallas Mavericks
Houston Rockets
New Orleans Pelicans
Eastern Conference
Northeast Division:
Toronto Raptors
Boston Celtics
New York Knicks
Brooklyn Nets
Atlantic Division:
Philadelphia 76ers
Washington Wizards
Charlotte Hornets
Cleveland Cavaliers
Central Division:
Milwaukee Bucks
Detroit Pistons
Chicago Bulls
Indiana Pacers
Southeast Division:
Atlanta Hawks
Memphis Grizzlies
Orlando Magic
Miami Heat
Dish does if you include certain streamers. It's why the new deal has more availability to viewers.Apologize in advance does anyone know if Dish network has blazer games on it? I tried google and it looks like it was going to be offered last year and then they pulled back. I want to switch from cable to dish but only if I get blazer games. Sorry again probably not spot to ask
Lets hope your flight back to Dallas is better.....So the Dubs couldn’t finish this last night. So that means I’m on a 7am flight BACK to SF. And I actually got my worst airplane seat ever! C’Mon FAMS!

I like this a lot, but splitting up the Texas teams into two divisions is a bit clunky. Same with Philly and the Atlantic teams. But this mostly makes sense geographically when you look at a map like this one.You have Vegas and Minnesota in the same division. I HATE that. I'd rather Minnesota go east and divide it like this:
NW--SEA/POR/SAC/GSW
PAC--LAL/LAC/LV/PHX
SW--NOP/MEM/HOU/DAL
MW--OKC/SAS/UTA/DEN
CEN--MIN/MIL/CHI/IND
NE--CLE/DET/TOR/PHI
ATL--BOS/NYK/BRO/WAS
SE--MIA/ORL/ATL/CHA

i absolutely still see the merit of divisions to reduce excessive travel. probably meaningless in the east when every other opponent is <2 hrs away on a flight but it absolutely matters in the west.I like that breakdown if we really have to have that many divisions. But do we?
As of right now winning a division means absolutely nothing towards the playoff seedings. So I guess I don't see the point.

the current NW division is a prime example-- we have two teams in our own division who are two timezones away.
You're right about splitting Texas; it would make just as much if not more sense to keep SA in the SW and have MEM in the MW.I like this a lot, but splitting up the Texas teams into two divisions is a bit clunky. I think your breakdown makes sense. And yeah, 3 games against non-division in- conference teams is an imbalance, but it can be alternated each season so it's predictable, and also balanced over each 2 year span. I might even go so far as to utilize the Pac-12 model of grouping teams into pairs for scheduling purposes; like the Blazers would play the Clippers and Lakers 6 times total, but between those 2 there would be 3 home and 3 road games. How would you break down the schedule?
Divisional games:
4 games * 3 teams = 12
Conference games:
3 games * 12 teams = 36
Inter-conference
2 games * 16 teams = 32
80 game schedule would be a good start but it would create a perpetual imbalance in home/road games among conference teams not in the division. Ideally, I'd make those 2 games like the inter-conference matchups to bring the total to 68, but they'd probably never agree to the reduced revenue.
I believe it already is imbalanced for in conference, out of division games currently. We play each east team twice, that's 30. We play our division 4 times, that's 16. The remaining 36 games are interconference, out of division, no?I like this a lot, but splitting up the Texas teams into two divisions is a bit clunky. Same with Philly and the Atlantic teams. it is, and i don't like it. the current situation has us playing 3 games vs some teams and 4 games vs others. they try to balance it by considering multiple seasons, but it's a bit annoying to me.I believe it already is imbalanced for in conference, out of division games currently. Maybe the Celtics can break the tie with the Lakers for most championships. That should make all of you Lakers haters happy and give you something to root for.Gonna be Boston vs GSW
I hate Boston too.Maybe the Celtics can break the tie with the Lakers for most championships. That should make all of you Lakers haters happy and give you something to root for.
My pep talk about the Celtics pulling in front of the Lakers for most championships all time didn't stoke your Laker hate enough to root for Boston?if the Celtics play the Warriors, I'm hoping both lose
It's combination Laker/Warriors hate that needs to come to the surface. My pep talk about the Celtics pulling in front of the Lakers for most championships all time didn't stoke your Laker hate enough to root for Boston?

Size gives the Warriors fits. Williams might have some huge games as well.Celtics will beat the Warriors. They have enough perimeter defenders to make it happen
