Guys like 20 years old. These are just kids, no matter what number they were drafted at.

I was thinking he was older. You were right as usual. :bgrin:

I like his potential, but then again that's one of our favorite words around here.

So Aldridge chooses to leave money on the table so that he can "go home" and join the San Antonio Spurs. Then, after a trip to WCF, he wants to leave? What a bum.
Chill.

I dont understand this. Because Jason Kidd had a historically bad rookie season for someone that grew into a HOFer, it means that Lonzo is... fine? Not having an awful year too?
Jason Kidd averaged 12/8/5 in the NBA 18 months out of HS. I’ll take that from my PG at ANY age.

Lakers on a 3 game winning streak. Ball with a nice night against the injured plagued Spurs. 18/10/6/4 on 64% shooting. Not a bad night for the rookie.

The Portland Trail Blazers currently have the same +/- (+1.1) as the championship contending Cleveland Cavaliers.

Made some changes to your statement. This year, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavaliers don't make the Finals or even lost in the second-round. I know that's been said before, but it feels like both James and the franchise are just marking time til he blows town.

Nice that pop is mature enough to look at himself in the mirror. But if anything it shows how immature LMA still is in his thirties. Pop could have made LA a HOFer if LA could take any criticism.

"Because we're not gonna get for you talent-wise what we would want"

:biglaugh:

Their blocks and steals are pretty much identical. What’d I miss?

Actual defense. If you think defense is just about blocks and steals, you're missing a lot. That's a bit like saying the best offensive player is the one who has the most dunks.

Would love opinions about these rookie season numbers. As much hate Ball gets around here, he isn’t looking that bad. I respect his game, I just ignore all the family drama.

Clearly a future first ballot Hall of Famer. He's a combination of Shaq (FT shooting) and Kidd (everything else, well except defense).

A perfect example of how stats don’t tell the real story.

I agree that stats don't always tell the real story.... this is not one of those cases, however. The Cavs have sucked
badly this year, like they did last year. Last year, they found a new gear in the playoffs. Historically, teams have
not been able to do this, so it was surprising. It's not obvious that they can do it again.

One of my best friends lives in Lithuania and is original from Portland. Gunna ask him to check the Ball kids and see how they are playing. Hell. The country is basically the size of Rhode Island. I'll bet he can attend all their games.

Anyone got a link to the team he's playing on?

I'll give you the remote possibility Pop could have made him a HOF level player if he drafted him. That's unlikely even.
