Rockets losing to the Spurs at half time after only putting up 38 points.
Typical of a dantoni team to lose to the spurs.
Houston not the same without Paul. Yes I know, Spurs are without Leonard, but that's been the case most of the year. But I guaranty Paul will Play versus the Blazers. I don't think the Rockets are worried one iota about losing to the Spurs today, but they won't want the Blazers to get any MO vs. them on Thursday.

Blazers will win over Rockets in next match. Mark my words.

Pelicans have 20 turnovers, OKC has 13. Thunder have a 3 point lead with 10:22 left in the game.

Utah is blowing out Minn in Minn.
Dantoni loses to Pop again.
It's not coming up Portland tonight.

IDK???
No Harkless or Davis and if they can win the next two they don't need the win. Might start playing the bench.

I’ll give the COY to Snyder. Jazz blowing out the Timberbulls

Are we still calling them the Timberbulls without Butler and Rose tonight? They still had Gibson and Thibs, but Butler is the only ex-Bull that seems to matter for them. Without Butler, they look exactly like the same lottery team they were last year and the year before and the year before...

No one in today's NBA palms the ball like that. Kawhi could. Phil Jackson said the difference between Kobe and MJ was that MJ could Palm the ball and hold it from on top with the ball below.

Not really that big a deal. I can palm the ball from above off the dribble, literally snatch the ball out of the air, from above, with one hand. Nurk handles the ball like a grapefruit, but of course doesn't have the handle or quickness Jordan had. Even Noah Vonleh has huge hands. It wasn't the large hands that made Jordan, Jordan. It was just one small part of the total package.

They used to have a display at the Rose Garden with players handprints on regulation size basketballs. The only two that had larger hands than me were Sabonis and Drexler. Both of those guys had HUGE hands. Sheed had very Trump-like hands, which is why he preferred to dunk with two hands, especially in traffic.

I'm just saying that's what Phil Jackson said.

What is our chances if we play Utah in the first round? Or who do you want to see us play?

I can as well, with both hands.

15 pts, 20 assts and 8 rbs for Ben Simmons today.

20 points and 15 assists. He is an amazing talent, and so fun to watch. I saw the game last night and Sixers are on fire, they are probably going to have a homecourt advantage in the playoffs and a healthy rested Embiid. I think they can make it out of the first round and won’t be an easy match up for the Raptors or Celtics in the second round either.

The playoffs for them are all about making a case for LeBron. If he sees they are competitive out there, he is IMO going to pick up the call and sign for them. Really no better place for him to go - two great young guys with huge upside and huge marketing potential, several good young players with a possible gem in Fultz too, and they will probably get a nice lottery pick this year to add to their talent pool. Redick will probably take a MLE to stay another year if that happens too.

Brad Stevens has injured Celtics 2 games out of 1 seed. Jazz may miss playoffs.

The turnaround Snyder has made at Utah since January has been on par with what Heat did last year. Stevens still had a good roster available for most of the season with Kyrie, Horford and Tatum playing very well.

I very much doubt Jazz will miss the playoffs. They are two games better than Clippers and Nuggets with a week to go.

I just can't really see LeBron going to Philadelphia? Why? He can go to LA and players will follow him. Matter of fact he can pretty much go anywhere and players will follow him.

LA makes no sense for him compared to Philadelphia. He wants to win, he has wanted to win for his entire career and joining a struggling team that hasn’t been in the playoffs for 5 years is not really the best attempt at putting yourself in a winning position.

He would also immediately throw himself into the battle against two of the best teams in the NBA who have much more quality than Lakers even if Lakers get LeBron. Even with James you are looking at a pretty ordinary line up of young players who might or might not become good enough to compete. Ball and Ingram still need to prove that they can do well on a winning team in the league, Simmons and Embiid have already shown they can lead their teams to a very good record while dominating teams.

He would need to have them rebuild the entire team and that might not even be enough to go further than the second round for 2-3 years. I don’t think he is willing to sacrifice two or three seasons of his career deep into his 30s for no reason at all. Do you go there and hope better players follow you a year or two later, with the risk of missing out on competing for a period of time? Why? Because it’s sunny California?

Also, if it doesn’t work out for him in LA it will tarnish his legacy somewhat. It is not only much less likely for him to fail in Philadelphia but even if he fails to deliver championship there, it won’t be recognized as failure the same as it would be in Los Angeles.

He will get to the Finals with 76ers. He might not get anywhere near with Lakers.
