just putting it out there - Suns Grayson Allen is OUT with hamstring injury from last night, not sure if he plays on Tuesday

To all the people asking who cares about tanking...

The NBA does, especially this time of year. When all eyes are on the league. And their precious play-in is front and center.

Who are you more excited to play in the first round if we get there? Which one helps us become a better team in the future? Spurs or Thunder?
I'm just rolling with the punches. Ideally did I want a pick in this draft, specifically a lotto pick? Yeah I did. If we're not getting that then I can pivot and be happy for our guys that they achieved the goal that they stated in preseason and have been talking about ever since.

I don't think being outmatched in the first round and losing our draft pick is the best situation but I have to root for our players winning games when that's what the organization has asked them to do.

I do worry about getting stuck in a position of mediocrity though but we have no control over that and just have to go with it.

Winning doesn't suck. It just is taking us on a one way ticket to mediocre town. We don't nearly have enough talent to come close to competing. Need one more big move.

I'll be hoping for hard fought games but that we get knocked out in the play in.

I get your point but there is no way at this stage I could ask the players to just lay down and lose.
Some of those guys want to win and make the playoffs. No question from what I watched last night.
If they make the playoffs I’m happy for them.

Nobody asks players to tank or lose. That's silly, and if anyone did it would 100 percent leak to the press. One simply strategically subs them out, or puts them on the hangnail injury list. At this point, I'm not so sure that Clippers and Warriors management aren't trying for the lottery.

How is Christie keeping his job with the Kings -- he sucks

The Kings are back to being the Kings of old do not have to worry about them anytime soon they are going to be lotto bound for years to come. I am so glad as much as things change certain things remain the same -- LOL

Probably the best visualization of the playin/playoffs I've seen;

Seriously I just don’t think the Clippers or Warriors want to be in the playoffs but the Clippers did win today. Now they play each other again to see who wants to play another game.
Warriors probably don't. Missing two critical players who may not play again till 2027. They have enough playoff experience to know they don't have a prayer. If they are in the lottery they will be 11th seed in the drawing. That's only a 9.4% shot at a top-4 seed but that's better than getting curb-stomped in the playoffs

Clippers don't own their first round pick so they have no incentive to lose; maybe not a lot of incentive to win either

That’s a good point about “No Good” Clippers. Maybe we can save a pick ourselves.

Odd how in the East the 9/10 plays Tuesday and 7/8 Wednesday. Would think the higher seed should have the two days rest.

Maybe Phi or Cha had arena scheduling conflict.

I love the last day of the season - it's like Senior day in College where they play guys you've never heard of:

Nice to see a couple of players I remember falling in love with in the run up to previous drafts, like Scheierman, Topic and Beringer. But who the hell are Bez Mbeng, Jalen Slawson, Lachlan Olbrich and John Poulakidas??

(Ex Blazers doing well with the turnovers, but at least Dalano got 4 blocks!)

Also, pick your complaint: you're EITHER allowed to say "Fire Cronin because he didn't take Queen!" OR "Fire Cronin because he didn't trade for New Orleans's pick!" but not both.

Fears has been balling with the minutes he’s been getting late in the season. Keep him on your radar!
