Man did we win the Anfernee Simons trade...Ant in Chicago is avg 15.2 pts and shooting 32% from 3 on 13 shots a game. Jrue smokes Ant in the stats column.

Is “stats” how we judge a player’s success on here? I was told that even triple doubles mean nothing.

Jrue has pretty much willed us to the playoffs. Ant didn't quite do that as "the man" around here.

Which is a net loss, since we are a bad team, but alas.
We will end up winning 41-42 games. IMO, we easily would have been a 50-win team this year with a normal amount of injuries.
I am not saying 50 wins is great, but it is not bad. But we will have only 4 players on the whole team who will have made the 65-game mark. And that counts Sidy, who started with a 2-way contract.

However, if we don't get Grant and Shae back for the play in series, we'll probably get our draft pick.

yeah...you don't get better by losing and your lottery players don't need 5 years without playoffs to grow eh? Try to keep up....you are thinking in Raymond Felton years, not Jrue Holiday years. We have 3 allstars and a bench. We have defenders. How many years now since you've watched a game?

I think we'll convey the pick to Chicago and be done with it and then mine the G league and probably sign Caleb Love instead of draft a rookie. Dundon wants a superstar more than a project.

Good for Rayan. Kinda shows you that sometimes you can't judge a player by their first season or two.

Cooper with 22 early in the 2nd. Stealing Kon’s ROY award and going for first teenager to score 60.

They don't care, they will demolish the three teams even if the Clippers Suns and Blazers formed one team, the Spurs will demolish them. They will win the championship.
Booker-Kawhi-Camara-Deni-Clingan could be a pretty good starting unit

Portland gets swept and no pick. Such is life for a blazers fan.
We'll see. I like this situation. Either the guys achieve their goal of making the playoffs, which I can cheer for and at the same time opens up our future picks because this year's pick will go to Chicago or I think more likely we'll lose in the play-ins, get to participate in the lotto and most likely pick at the end of the lotto.

The eighth seed will likely come down to our game against the Clippers. If we lose that, I could see us losing at home in the first play-in game against the Warriors... if they have Steph back for it.

Any way you cut it our team has posted a record above expectations and that is a good thing. Do I want a lot of different guys from this draft? Yeah but I can't be mad at our roster for overachieving.

I'm not sure whose expectations. I said 40-41 wins before the season started. Think I settled on 40. Obviously the Blazer front office led by Cronin had pretty high expectations when he called this coming season "winning time now" last summer. 41 wins and being 19th in the NBA does not seem like any significant overachieving.

with Phoenix winning today, the 7th seed pre-play-in seems out of reach for Portland. It's down to 1....1 more Phoenix win or 1 more Portland loss and 8th is the best the Blazers can do in play-in seeding. Suns own the tiebreaker

We’re about to clinch no worse than 9th since Warriors are losing.

You have to take into consideration the injuries we played through. Then 40 wins is incredible. We went months without a PG. Scoot and Shaedon never played a game together. It’s incredible.

I saw somebody post on Reddit the other day that they were upset because they lost a parlay where they had Anthony Edwards to score 2+ points in the first 3 minutes.

Ant checked in at like the 9:30 mark… Supposedly he didn’t start because he had to take a dump!
