They lucked out last year facing injured teams and avoiding injuries themselves in the playoffs. Looks like it could go the opposite direction this year. They will still beat Houston regardless of whether Curry plays another minute or not.

I don't understand why he even came back for this series.

Wow, big surprise. A team struggles without their best player.

I mean.... this is a team that just won 73 games.... and they're playing in the first round against the 8th seed. They shouldn't struggle THAT much :dunno:

You've heard the Blazers are better without Lillard right?
Just like they were better last year without Aldridge.
It is a surprise!

Those are stars, not super stars. San Antonio is the rare team that doesn't drop off when the latter is missing from the equation.

Kyrie SHOOTS it from half court nothing but net to end the 3rd...

Lane violation on a Drummond made free throw. That should get him 30 days in the brig.

Hockeys a great sport. I don't understand why it's not more popular. Maybe if Portland had an NHL team it would be.

I'll admit that I never liked hockey until a few years ago. The more I watched it, the funner I thought it was to watch.

Rank them: Iving, Lillard, Westbrook, Paul, Curry, Conley, Lowry, Walker.

I would put Walker above Conley. It is splitting hairs but he has closed the gap in assists to where it is almost a push and is much better on O otherwise. Conley of course is the better defender though.

The defense is why I had Conley over Walker. Kemba certainly improved his game this year though. Conley is like a Chris Paul light: floor leadership, defense, heart, offense, and defense.
