So tired of hearing about Kuzma, people still talking about him as a ROY candidate. His PER has dropped below 15, his BPM is -1.5, and since Christmas he's basically been awful. For a player who was tabbed "the steal of the draft" because of his shooting, he's shot like crap for the past 2 months.

Kuzmania needs to die.

Pretty sure Lonzo is gone after this season. Who needs that kind of headache?
LeBron going to request this to happen before he signs with then. He doesn’t want LaVar trying to out GM/coach him.

Honestly i don't even think it will take that but i certainly wouldn't doubt it if i was told that was the case.
That poor kid's entire career might be in the balance because his father won't shut the hell up. What team wants that and is willing to bring him on if the Lakers can't deal with it?

Agree though I kinda joked about it. Where does Lonzo end up? It would be funny and sad if he ends up in Europe playing with his bros.

I won't be shocked if they use Ball to offload Deng's contract. Someone might take a chance on that.

After the Blazers are out of the playoffs??

How does that help them with cap space?
Them who--the Lakers? Well, it's an instant $5M savings on contract value alone, and Layman is non-guaranteed, which saves them another 1.2M. And Aminu's contract is up a year sooner than Deng's, so that saves them 2019 money as well.

I've never been so close to paying @SlyPokerDog 50$ to ban someone on this site before.
Got my bank card and everything right next to me.
I hear you. Just trying to suss out the tolerance for such an idea. Clearly, it's very low.

I still like the idea of taking on Deng's salary for a bunch of picks but it became much harder to do now that the trade deadline has passed.

Yeah but they keep Harkless who is $10M of dead money if you go after LeBron and George as he won't even get 10 mpg with them plus Kuzma and Ingram around.

They might be able to find someone who will take Ball and Deng and won't send back any long term deals like they did with Russell and Mozgov.

Good read (as usual) from Zach Lowe: "We could have a legitimate nine-team race for the best lottery odds. I'm not sure if we've ever had a tanking pool this deep. These teams make the Lakers, 23-33, look like a goddamned juggernaut."

Lottery odds need to be based off number of losses compared to other teams, not positioning. And then draw for the top 5.

Oh, and after the ASB, losses against lottery team counts AGAINST you, and wins against lottery teams counts FOR you.

That’s where I think they’re all gonna go.

Europe or China.

Lonzo has (at least) a 3 year guaranteed contract. He isn't going overseas anytime soon.
