Anybody clear the n what Dallas has leftover now in exchange for Luka.
Crazy the Mavs got TWO frp for Davis but only ONE for Luka.

Ultimately to answer the question the net return they got for Luka was Middleton, Bagley, 3 picks, and the headliner is MAX CHRISTIE.

I applaud the Mavs for cashing out what they can of Davis - but it was insane how posters here were justifying last year that Davis was an All-NBA player LMAO.

Worst NBA trade of all time and its not even close.

Why do the Wizards want him?!? Giving up valuable draft picks for a guy who is NEVER healthy is crazy to me.
Very perplexing - I guess him and Trae Young will aim to do something?

Maybe its just the wizards thinking they can rehab Davis trade value and flip him for more in the summer.

I wonder if one of the picks is the one we sent the Wizards in the Deni deal?

Kind of crazy that Deni two years ago (before he improved so much with us) was worth two FRP - yet Anthony Davis was just traded for two FRP.

I actually love this deal for WSH after hearing of those picks (if thats really the value).

The one this year is 27-30.

The GS 2030 is 21-30 at BEST or not even a pick at all.

Those picks are closer to 2nd rounders. I was imagining some possible lottery pick when the trade broke but those firsts are garbadge.

WSH might even be able to flip Davis for more TOMORROW. Kind of like when we sent Sheed to Atlanta. If not they surely can flip him for more in the summer.

Even if not and he ultimately just walks it really doesnt matter much.

Ok here it is - gosh this is even worse than I thought. Amazing that you could trade away a 25 year old MVP candidate who just took his team to the finals for so little;

Best pick Dallas got for Luka is the 2029 Lakers when Luka will be 29 - so still not that great. Just utterly insane they didn't get the Lakers 2031 pick too.

Next best pick is currently this years Thunder pick which is #30 - so the same as a second rounder.

Last pick likely won't even convey but if it does its at the end of the first round.

This trade will go down for decades and maybe even centuries as the dumbest NBA trade of all time.

Who is worse than POR now? SAC? BKN? They have a shit ton of picks though..
NOP?? CHI??

Hate to say it but POR is a bottom tier team, not even mids.
CHA has made the leap. WAS and UTA are poised to as well imho

Number of prior MVP candidates are bouncing around teams

Harden now has been on OKC, HOU, BRK, PHI, LAC, CLE
Davis NOP, LAL, DAL, WSH

Who is worse than POR now? SAC?
Yeah good point, Memphis is tanking, Clippers might fall a lot. Warriors seem like they might stand pat and they could certainly have losses pile up. Dallas won't have any bump now from a potentially healthy Davis.

However Utah could make a run. Kessler being out for the year has them thin at C though. Is Nurk going to shut us out of the playin?

Clippers and Pelicans both traded away their picks unprotected so they'll try the whole season.

Overall think our chances for the playin have gone up a lot with the deadline. We play Memphis 3x soon.

Utah is not making a run -- they want a lotto pick to add to what they are building and they should and if they do not then Ainge is stupid and one thing he is not is stupid.
