Anytime I hear about Ron Artest, I think of this clip back when we played the rockets. Fucking classic

A rare mindless Craig Sayer interview. He did not listen to Ron the second time before he asked a third version of the same. Artest was on the edge ever since his mother jettisoned him into the cold brutal world.

A very politically incorrect, but very accurate way of saying, "we are a better team than our record indicates". He's basically saying, our record sucks, but we still have some talent here. It's a good way of explaining their shitty record without throwing his players, or the organization under the bus.

Celtics are catching the Cavs. They have some great valuable assets and should be looking to make big moves, they've caused Warriors trouble too more than once and killed their long standing home record.

Nurkic with a disastrous game. 1 point (0/7) in 12 minutes. -13.

Would anyone trade Vonleh straight across for him?

No picks either way.

I think they are very similar talents (not players) although Nurk has shown more (outside of his last few games).

Which would you rather have going forward?

The Celtics taking out the Cavs and then beating the Warriors would kind of wipe out the superstar teams dominance theory. I'd be ok with that.

What did you think of him at the time? Given his lack of size, did you think he'd one day be playing in the NBA, let alone at his current level?

There was another kid on his team who was better at the time. From his Junior to Senior season there was marked improvement. He was small but he had elite quickness, ballhandling, and fearlessness. He went wherever he wanted to with the ball. D1 prospect easy.

Conversely, Brandon Jennings looked every bit of an NBA prospect.

found this interesting. Never understood why I have been hearing his name in trade rumors the past year

Wow, if there is even an ounce of truth to that, it's no wonder there is so much animosity between Butler and the CHI front office. It also explains why Butler and Thibs are so close and why Wade and Butler are on the same page.

No doubt. Tony freaking Snell?

LOL. No one can ever accuse the Soup Juggler of being being an underachiever when it comes to forcing up bad shots. Hopefully, any coach in his right mind would pull him way before he got to 0 for 30.

At least he dreams big. 0-30 would not only put him in the record books, it would likely be one of those records that would never be broken.

The current record for worst 0-fer in NBA history is held by Tim Hardaway at 0-17.

They've won 8 straight and he was just named POW last week. Something is working in MIA.

Interesting that our trade assets are considered "limited", but Denver's are "plentiful." (I don't agree!)

Anyway, here's a snippet:
Trade assets: limited

The heavy lifting in Portland will likely occur in the summer and not at the trade deadline.

Faced with the prospect of having the top payroll in the NBA next season, Portland will have the opportunity to shed contracts this summer when their own players have less money and years remaining on their deals.

Although Portland does have Ezeli’s $7.4 million 2017-18 salary ($1 million protection) to dangle, future luxury-tax concerns should have Blazers management thinking twice about taking back a long-term contract.

The Trail Blazers, with two first-round picks (their own and Cleveland’s), will find more value in each pick as the June draft approaches and not in February.

Its always like that when someone posts a trade guide. Not everyone has the same sources and not everyone feels the same way about picks/players. I do think Denver is in a better position because they have more picks and can absorb salary while we probably dont' want to get into the LT this year.

Fair enough, but I feel like Denver's ceiling is much lower than ours is.

What they can get back is higher then ours imo if we leave CJ off the table and the only two off their table is Jokic and Murry but I don't see them ending with a better record then us even if they pull off a trade for Cousins because they would have little left around that roster. Heck if we offered CJ the only way Denver gets close to what we could offer is if they then put Jokic on the block but that wont happen.
