AD just had 34/26 and they lost to the Nets.

They had 4 guys score above 20. Playing no defense whatsoever. How is Gentry not on the hot seat? Their bench was outscored 55-5

That is one of the consequences of always trading away picks. Off the top of my head I believe they've traded every 1st round pick they've had since they drafted Davis #1 in 2012. That's 6 straight drafts with no development of young players. In a small market you just can't do that.

Why doesnt AD get criticized? I know his stats are amazing but I always kind of wonder if he doesnt get the criticism other superstars do.

Obviously if he wanted to be here Id take him.

It just seems like his stats havent led to a whole lot of winning for NO. This year their team might miss the playoffs. Its not like the talent around him is appreciably worse than most of the teams in the west. Randle, Holliday, Mirotic, all decent to good NBA players.

Overall I just find his career strange. Most people have had him as a top 4-5 NBA player for most of his career. He has one playoff series win and has missed the playoffs completely a number of times.

Again Im not saying he sucks, he’s obviously really good. Just seems strange to me he doesnt get held to the standard other players of the caliber do.

Harden, Lebron, KD, even Dame if their teams were 5 games under .500 people would pile on them. It just seems like AD is mostly immune to that criticism.

5 games under .500? Hell, the Blazers lose 2 games in a row and this place goes ape shit crazy.

Just watched the Lakers and Thunder game without Lebron.

Lakers > Blazers

Paul George has been a top 5 player this year.

OKC's defense is no joke either. A bunch of elite athletes that can fly around and really cause havoc.

Allows them to really load to the ball and still do a good job closing out to the 3 point line.

Bill Laimbeer was a Sleestak in Land of the Lost.

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times: you don't build a team around a PF. He'd make a great secondary star, but unless he plays under Pops ain't no way a PF gonna lead a team to a championship.

Hope this trade improves the Griz just enough to drop them in the draft order to screw the Celtics out of getting the Griz's 2019 FRP.
You would rather have Memphis get another top-8 pick than have the Celtics get it?

Yeah, because the reason we often lose games is because of the same fixable flaws that were refuse to fix. Or a lack of energy and effort.

Why do all the other teams lose games as well? I imagine it's similar to why we lose some games. We do have one of the better records in the west against teams .500 and above.
