I don't feel bad because it's the Rockets but it's kind of bullshit that the league office is closed down today when there are games going on and that the Melo trade won't be approved until tomorrow. They had to waive Nunnaly in order for Faried to play tonight.

We have players on this team just as flawed as Melo and making far more money. I'm not a fan of the guy, but our bench is so up-and-down that if we could sign him for a deal similar to what he got in Houston it would seem a minimal risk.

If we were actually willing to part with CJ at the time, combined with a pick which we had three of at the time, we would have probably landed him. CJ’s value was higher than Oladipo’s back then (not anymore) and nobody really knew what Sabonis was (he’s awesome).

I'm calling BS. Collins is better at center than PF, and right now Leonard is another big, fat excuse for Stotts to neglect Collins' development. People are getting too hot-and-bothered over Leonard's occasional flirtations with adequacy.

What does Collins do better than Meyers? His defense has dropped off a cliff while his foul rate has actually increased. Terry is giving him 20 mpg regardless of his effectiveness-- i don't see any neglect.

Most of us all still think Meyers is horrible. He just isn't as horrible as he was and that little he has improved now makes him a better bet to have then taking on Carmelo who has gone the other way.
