Not sure how many of you are following what's going on with Suns but vibe around them has taken such a turn, especially the last couple games.

Booker and Ayton seem to be at odds.

Boiled over tonight after ayton was caught flat footed on the defensive glass. Booker yelled at him and after he grabbed two offensive rebounds on the very next possession, tried to tell him that he should rebound like that on the other end but Ayton didnt want to hear it and threw a fit on the bench, kicking and punching chairs.

Baynes and Booker also seem like they're not on the best of terms. Was watching the first quarter of their game against the Grizz a couple nights ago and Baynes tried to get Book to switch back out on to the perimeter after switching with Ayton on a pnr to avoid the mismatch. Well, Booker either ignored him or zoned out but in either case Baynes then shouted "LISTEN TO ME, I'M TALKING TO YOU!"

Really bizarre to watch these things play out after that team had such a great start. And that's probably played a part in this. Especially with Booker's attitude. Think he felt like this year was going to be different and he's starting to become fed up with everything.

Whole team looks depressed and Monty has looked very frustrated. Didn't even take questions after the Grizz game.

No one mention the Anthony Davis injury tonight? Gonna miss their next road trip.

Not once did I buy the Suns this season with the exception that with how bad 7-15 were earlier in the season a bad team was likely to make the playoffs.

Ayton is becoming a perfect example of someone talented enough to be a great player but doesn't have the drive, work ethic, or basketball IQ to realize that talent.

Suns kind of remind me of the Kings as they both seem to get a lot of hype each year as to how much they have improved but continually fall short and end up in the lottery time after time. For those wanting to tank, just looking at those two teams shows that getting high draft picks every year doesn't always work out.

Even though Minnesota snuck in as the 8th seed 2 seasons ago, I'd put them in that group too.

Yeah, I was going to include them as well except for that brief playoff appearance and figured someone would nit pick that they made the playoffs. I think their is a faction of posters in here that love the excitement of the lottery more than the team itself. Sure the draft lottery can be exciting, but my first choice is always making the playoffs and what happens happens.

Nope. He's butt-hurt (literally), but he's not staying home.

I don't know why he yelling at players is defense is not great.

We aren’t the Kings or Suns though. Tanking is the right thing to do.

Don't look now, but the Spurs are good again. This happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR, and every single year I think it's not going to happen. I guess I'll never learn.

Good again? Because they won 2 games in a row? They are 6-4 over the last 10 games, are 16-20 over all and a game ahead of us, they are 5-11 against teams over .500 and we are 4-13. I guess we are very close to being good again?

No, you've got it backwards. They won those games because they're playing well. And why not mention who they beat and by what margin? Also, your stats include when they were playing badly. They WERE playing like shit.

And 2 games doesn't miraculously turn a team around. Spurs still have their brutal rodeo trip to make. Now they may keep playing well, but i certainly wouldn't annoint them as turning their season around. Lots of games to be played yet.

Wrong. They have turned their season around. Whether they maintain the new direction is an entirely different matter.

Have we turned our team around? They are 6-4 and we are 5-5 in the last 10 games. Like was pointed above, they have like 6 more home games than us as well. They also haven't had near the injuries we have had. Maybe your definition of " turning it around" is different than mine. :smiley-beerchug:

Portland is 4-6 over the last 10, and 2-6 over the last 8...and those two wins came against teams missing their best player and more rotation players than Portland

and I never said we have turned our season around either. Spurs have a worse road record and have played 6 less road games after tonight. They need to win more games on the road in order to consider them as having turned their season around in my book.

We have been consistently up and down. The Spurs were consistently bad and are suddenly pretty competitive. I'm sure you can see the difference there.

I think you missunderstood my point. Neither team has done enough yet to be heading in the right direction in my opinion. Spurs might continue on the path and after about 5-6 more games will show me where they are at.

You're changing the narrative now. Turning things around is less definitive than heading in the right direction.
