Perhaps, but in this case, he was approached by a "fan" and graciously posed for a video with the "fan" only to have the "fan" shit all over him. I loved it when C.J. called him out on Twitter, but that was totally different, that was two competitors trading barbs. This was Parsons being accessible, which many players aren't, only to have the "fan" shit talk him and then post it online.
And, in the end, when "fans" treat players like this, it will make them even more reluctant to be accessible and interact with fans. That douchebag makes the rest of us look bad. He poorly represents what it means to be a fan (which is why I used quotation remarks when referring to him as a "fan").
