Will Milwaukee have Giannis back?
Of course he will--everybody knows that stars only miss games against the Blazers!

Aminu would be open all series long playing against SA. They don't have a player who can guard Dame or CJ, and Nurk would have a field day.
I would LOVE to put TT and them on they're ASSES in the first round.
You don't think he'd be rusty and out of game-shape, since he hasn't played in a YEAR?Leonard will return in the playoffs and it will be such a huge boost, we’d get swept.
Sorry man, but Zach would foul out in 10 minutes at most. Not making any predictions or crazy proclamations but.....I’m curious as to how LMA might do with Collins banging on him for a good chunk of a game. Zach is WAY more physical (and mentally tougher) than Aldridge. Collins would probably foul out fairly quickly but I’m pretty sure that while his body might be back on the bench, he’d still be in Aldridge’s head. Whatever, I’d love to see it........
You just typed that you are not worried about Russ if we play OKC. Serious question, do you believe the opposing PGs, coaches and scouts feel the same way?Hate to do this with so much still up in air. Don't wanna pull a Jinxspeed
Order of teams I'd rather play from best matchup to worst:
1. MIN- no playoff experience and Butler returning from injury
2. OKC- Paul George is the only guy that scares me on that team. They can stick him on Dame to slow him down, but Brewer/Russ don't have a shot at stopping CJ. Their defense is in the tank w/o Roberson.
3. NO- Holiday can be bottled up but AD would go off.
4. SAS- just don't wanna mess with them. Too much pedigree and too much Aldridge.
5. UTAH- I legit think we'd lose. Gobert is a freaking monster and Snyder is a genius.
Denver and LA climb to top of this list if they can make it in.
I don't think anyone is worried about Russ, because it's so easy to get into his head. They're more worried about game planning for Corey Brewer. You just typed that you are not worried about Russ if we play OKC. Collins would nullify LA. LA has no handles and isn't agile - he's not getting around Collins. LA can shoot all the jumpers he wants. We really don't want the Spurs. I hate to say it but LA will kill us.
We have nobody that can match up to him.
I always thought Danny Green was a quality defender.Aminu would be open all series long playing against SA. They don't have a player who can guard Dame or CJ, and Nurk would have a field day.

A rusty Kawhi is better than 13 of our 15 players on the roster my man.Swept? Not a chance. Kawhi will still be rusty as hell.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?I don't think anyone is worried about Russ, because it's so easy to get into his head. They're more worried about game planning for Corey Brewer.

I had to go read that again.......Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?I don't think anyone is worried about Russ, because it's so easy to get into his head. They're more worried about game planning for Corey Brewer.
Agreed, Dame is a beast and I love him.......but you didn’t answer my question.Other teams don't have Dame
Right? I was about to post this too. They really haven't beat any good teams. MIN was probably their best win all season.Honestly, regarding the Spurs, I've been tracking expected W-L since the beginning of March. Spurs have only won one game they weren't supposed to, and that was hosting the Warriors without all of their scorers. This current streak they're on is semi-fraudulent.

And that was at home, of course. Do you know how many road wins they have over an above .500 team? Two, all season. In Portland 12/20, and in Cleveland 2/25. Every other road win they have this season has been over a bottom-feeder (I'm including their October win in Miami in that, because the Heat were awful the first couple months).Right? While I don't love the idea of winning a(nother) series on Aminu 3-pointers, I do agree with your assessment of the defensive problem we pose. Let's even give them the benefit of having Kawhii back and we're looking at:Aminu would be open all series long playing against SA. The phrase "those in glass houses..." springs to mind and makes me curious about how many we've won.And that was at home, of course. Do you know how many road wins they have over an above .500 team? I don't fear a team that can't win on the road.

If they put their best defender on our best player, we exploit the hell out of a mis-match. Even if they switch the Green/Patty assignments, that'd create two (albeit lesser) mis-matches for us to exploit. If they go traditional, Dame and CJ feast. If they go traditional and collapse on Dame/CJ we have open 3s. Unfortunately, Pops is too smart to pull a Tater and just throw a single look at us, and we'll have to be on our toes to recognize what the defense is doing every possession.
- Kawhii on Dame (good for SAS)
- Green on CJ (meh for SAS)
- Patty on Harkless (GREAT for us!)
- LA on Aminu (meh for both)
- Who? on Nurkic (great for us!)
You get into the bench and you have Ed and Collins vs Pau - defense goes to POR. You've got Bazz vs Parker - defense goes to POR. Pat/Turner vs Ginobili/Gay - defense goes to POR.
SAS is one-and-DONE!
His moves are so quick when he catches in the deep post! We REALLY need to exploit that more, regardless of the mismatch.I fucking love those Harkless mismatches. He just gets the lob and dunks it home!
You are OUT OF YO MIND! You think Aminu can guard LA? HAHAHA! Pacers, Wizards, Heat (December), Thunder, Clippers (twice), Jazz. The phrase "those in glass houses..." springs to mind and makes me curious about how many we've won.
So I got 1 out of 5 wrong? Still good for a B!You are OUT OF YO MIND! You think Aminu can guard LA? HAHAHA! I am actually laughing while I type.
Decent-ish. Not great. Despite their records, I still don't really consider any of those EC teams to be good...or the last time we played LAC.Pacers, Wizards, Heat (December), Thunder, Clippers (twice), Jazz.
We have a decent road win resume.

Careful or Stotts just might banish you to the bench for 80% of the season! My biggest complaint after the Houston loss is "why didn't we go to Nurkless (Nurk and Harkless) more?" They ran the "Collins switch to CP, CP drains the three" for as long as they could and it really hurt us. We have great success with switching a non-center onto Nurk and then him backing them down and scoring. How in the hell did Nurk get only 10 shots and Harkless only 5? With Dame and CJ struggling, Nurk should have had 15-20 shots at least, and Harkless 10+. Houston saw CP had an advantage and ran it into the ground until Collins came out harder. We killed them with Nurkless and only got 15 attempts between them.
Next time we play a team that puts a SF or stretch 4 at center, we should Nurk them into the ground with it. I know Dame is a somewhat selfless player and did take few shots than average, but this was a game where I think they should have recognized the big mismatch and taken better advantage of it.
Aminu did a good job down the stretch on Towns and AD in previous games this year. Why couldn't he guard LA? All LA will do is shoot turn around fade away jumpers that have less than a 45% chance of going in (which makes it inefficient). You are OUT OF YO MIND! You think Aminu can guard LA? HAHAHA! I am actually laughing while I type.
