GS is projected to pay 90 MIL in TAX this summer and 140 MIL in TAX next summer. That is no small potatoes. A team like GS could probably go for it for at least two years. A team like WAS who even with that lineup isn't winning a title

Depends on the owner. Mahinmi had a high salary for the next couple years. Trading him, Gortat, and picks for Cousins would see pretty much no increase in salary thks year and next year. The problem would be when Walls extension kicks in, but the extra revenue from a
Cousins the year prior to that jump and fit that year could definitely help pay the tax. Depends on the owner, but I could see someone trying to make that work. They could always try to trade Otto Porter in a couple years when Wall's salary increases to save money and sign a solid, cheap veteran to replace him. They wouldn't have a money problem fit the next two years.

I find it hard to believe that he and Gasol weren’t getting along. Obviously i have no idea but I knew Fizdale back in San Diego and he’s the nicest, most engaging and easy to get along with guy you’ll meet.

Option 1: Fizdale to the clippers and they should fucking Move to Seattle! (Nobody needs 2 teams in los Angeles or Option 2: Fire Stotts and get Fizdale please. I am for Option 2
As somebody who isn't a Stotts fan, I say no to Option 2. We need an improvement. Ime Udoka, maybe. Fizdale? No thanks.

Terry Stotts is not going anywhere as long as Dame is the face of the franchise
fuck that, players should do their job and their job only

Eh. I'm okay with head coaches cozying up with their stars. They are just being smart. What I hate is when fans refuse to hold coaches accountable because of a perceived lack of talent. As a Jets fan, that describes the last decade pretty well, at least under Todd Bowles and Sexy Rexy.

can you translate this, please
I dont understand it

part about the fans and coaches

I've been wondering what the Cavs plan is with the Brooklyn pick. Trade it or draft your next face?
It might not be top 5... So they could be looking at non-franchise players. Therefore, I'd try to trade it. If Gasol becomes available he's exactly who they need. J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, the BKN pick and a future CLE pick for Gasol and Evans would be ideal.

Thomas / Rose?
Evans / Wade
Lebron / Crowder
Love / Frye
Gasol / Thompson

And coaches should listen to players, goes both ways.
I dont agree, coach is the boss, you need to listen to your boss!

players should listen to coaches, when coach says something, you do it, whether you like it or not, he does his job, you do your job, its simple as that... theres the reason why coaches exist

There’s also a reason why the best coaches have open lines of communication, because at the end of the day it’s the players that have to get the job done.

That only works if coaches always know best. A good coach understands that sometimes the athlete knows better. Not often, but often enough that you're talking out of your ass when you make absolute statements like that.
