compare Ayton's 1st year in Portland to his first 8 games in LA:

points: PDX 16.7....LAL 17.5
rebounds: PDX 11.1....LAL 8.4
assists: PDX 1.6....LAL 1.1
turnovers: PDX 1.8...LAL 2.3
assist/turnover: PDX 0.89....LAL 0.48
FG%: PDX .570....LAL .657
FT%: PDX .823....LAL .588
PER: PDX 18.9....LAL 18.3
TS%: PDX .587....LAL .657
reb rate: PDX 19.1%....LAL 15.9%
winshares/48: PDX 0.106....LAL 0.114
BPM: PDX +0.3....LAL -1.9

lol..."fantastic"....the only thing he's doing better in LA than Portland is shooting the ball. In most ways he was better as a Blazer and that was for a season, not an 8 game sample size. Yep....better in PDX but by the end of the season most Blazer fans wanted him gone PDQ/ASAP/Yesterday. Laker fans just need a little more time.....and a lobotomy

I've always been wary of the hate LeBron gets. Dude has done so much good in communities. Bronny certainly gets unwarranted hate. Where was all the anger over Blevins? That guy was way worse than Bronny is. So are Giannis' brothers.

It is what it is. Relationships help people get jobs. People can call it nepotism but Bronny obviously has SOME potential.

It is just weird.
Nobody really cared about Blevins. I don't really care about Bronny or Giannis' brothers either. It's just funny. It's a joke.

I mean good for them. But to most it's just a joke. It would be awesome if they all were there on their own merit like the Lopez and Curry brothers.

LeBron is an athletic freak. He's a good basketball player. Knows the game.

I don't care about him either though. i just don't. The most attention I ever give him is when posts like this come up.

The idea that he thinks he's in the conversation with Jordan, Wilt, Russell, Kareem or Larry Bird is just funny to me... The fact that he spends money on social media campaigns advocating for himself as the GOAT is just pitiful.

Lol just thought about the Curry brothers... Both legit players in the league.

I guess Steph beats LeBron at that, too.

Yeah Blevins never made the court like bronnie has and Dame wasnt out there advocating Blevins will be an all star and Blevins didnt talk like an entitled ahole.

When you are the best. People tell you so. You don't tell people so. For so much success as he has had, he sure seems fragile with that glass ego.

Blevins did what Ed Davis and Will Barton did, he signed for a Canadian team in Calgary then went overseas and signed in Singapore. He's been a professional basketball player since his days waiving towels in Portland. Ed Davis won the championship in the Phillipines and Will Barton and Jake Layman played in Japan. CJs brother made a career in Turkey. It's all good. Alan Crabbe was in the G league a couple years ago. He didn't need the money, that's for sure. Point is, these guys do something for a living whether it's next to a more famous relative or elsewhere. No knock on any of them that they weren't as successful as the Lopez twins or Barry family.

De'Aaron Fox injured his hamstring in July. So that was 13-14 weeks ago. And Scoot's timeline is 4-8 weeks? Fox must have had a much more severe of an injury

It even for the yesr until Dame is back? 15 minutes off the bench for 6-9 pts, (2-3 3pters) isnt somewhat realistic? i ask because i have no clue about his current game. Last I heard was he was doing okay off the bench last season with Dallas?
setting aside whether he's 'cooked' or not...

the problem is his salary and Portland only being 1.5M below the tax line. Blazers aren't going to become a taxpayer because of Klay

so it would have to be a 2 for 1 trade

Timelord + Wesley or Reath or Rupert works, barely. And those expiring Blazer contracts might appeal to the Mavs. But Timelord wouldn't because they have AD, Gafford, Lively, and Powell at C and PF

Thybulle + Murray doesn't keep the Blazers under the tax line. It would have to be a 3 for 1 deal, but then the Blazers would have to sign a player and that might bump them over the tax line. Thybulle + Yang works but obviously the Blazers aren't cutting bait on Yang this soon

Thanks. Didn't even think about the money implications.

so far, this season, Klay Thompson is averaging 8pts, 3reb, 2ast. He's shooting 32% on FG's and 26% on three's. He'll turn 36 before the all-star break. He's in a slump for sure, but it's harder to come out of slumps when you're 35 than when you're 27

So, you’re saying he’d fit right in?

No wonder the Warriors weren't that sad that he signed elsewhere. Dude has fallen off a cliff.
