In terms of assessing OKC, I agree, it doesn't mean anything. It still amused me though.It's preseason. Dallas could beat em 40, it doesn't really mean much sir.
For followers of basketball in Australia however, it's a big deal. I wouldn't have thought an NBL team could get within 30 points of an NBA team, preseason or not.
Hopefully this will convert some of the Aussie NBA snobs, who only follow the NBA, and refuse to support the local league.
I also hope it will help convince more NBA level players to consider the NBL as a career path.
Players like Stephen Jackson, Joe Ingles, Rick Brunson, James Ennis, and Terrance Ferguson all played in the NBL before they played in the NBA, and I'd love to see more.
