Ya, Embid can't even run full court yet. Shit, their first preseason game is in 7 days and he hasn't even played with the guys yet. Saw an article yesterday about how Philly is already in talks to re-sign him. What the fuck? This guy hasn't even really played and they ill have to MAX him out probably to keep him.

Wade wouldn't make the Thunder better at all. He's already declining as a player and would only make a noticeable positive impact in the right situation.

However, on a team that will struggle to shoot a good percentage from 3pt, with 3 ball dominant players including a PG who struggles to shoot the 3 who needs the ball to be most effective, just doesn't mix well.

Westbrook, Wade, and George has a lot of similarities to Rondo, Wade, and Butler. Westbrook is better of course, but the way they play and the problems of fit would be very similar to this years Thunder and last years Bulls. Yes, Melo is a better SF/PF option than the Bulls had, but with how many players need the ball, he'd be relegated to a smaller role that could only be slightly more prominent than the one Mirotic played last year. Obviously they won't be as bad as that Bulls team, but that Bulls team was hyped up as being a contender for HCA last year, and I kept saying they wouldn't come close because of the problems of their top players fitting together.

So this type of situation is what I'm talking about when I say OKC could get overhyped because mosts are just focusing on the names they have and not how they actually fit together.

He's better than Andre Roberson. And he'd be great off the bench in OKC. Jussayin.

Dwayne is going to the Cavs:

Dwyane Wade Nearing Commitment With Cavaliers

Dwyane Wade is nearing a commitment to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers one he clears waivers.

Wade is expected to finalize his decision as soon as Wednesday. Wade will be eligible to sign a one-year, $2.3 million veteran's minimum contract with the Cavaliers.

Wade agreed to a buyout with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

LeBron James and Wade were teammates for four seasons with the Miami Heat.

Wade also considered the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat. Wade hasn't ruled out a future return to the Heat but prefers to join a contender.

WESTBROOK IS GETTING PRP INJECTIONS AND THE SEASON HASN'T STARTED!!!!

I do think that now is the best time to get the injections. As the treatment can only last for months. So the closer to the start of the season the better???? (I am guessing here)

My question is: Why does he need them?

My question is: Why does he need them?
His prior knee injuries were meniscus related, and those often recur. My guess is that now that they have their big 3 and believe themselves to be contenders, they're trying to prevent the issues from flaring up again this year and derailing their hopes for a title.

Honestly I'd try to trade Ed Davis for Shumpert. Cleveland could use a backup 4/5, and they'd have 4 SGs (not including Crowder).

If there was a way we could get Crowder, even better.

I can't stand his game and he always sucks on 2K lol.

He plays defense and is a somewhat okay shooter. He's the Aminu of guards. Just don't need Davis and we could use Shumpert.

I plan to watch two

I just want to see if all that tanking can actually bring about a decent team. It's like determined king in Monty Python's Quest For The Holy Grail, "Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. And that one sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, and then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up."

I want to see if Philly's Castle can stay up.

Dwyane Wade to Cleveland! Im glad he didnt go to okc or houston. Who is cleveland going to waive?

I bet Lebron plays a lot of PF.

Thomas (32) / Rose (16) /
Wade (22) / Smith (16) / Korver (10)
Lebron (18) / Crowder (30) / Shumpert
Love (30) / Lebron (18) / Frye
Thompson (33) / Love (5) / Zizic (10)

My guess is that they waive Calderon and Jeff Green.

Philly vs. Sacremento will be surprisingly fun matchups. Same with Philly vs. Lakers.

Those two are pretty good players to just waive.

Wade might start at point till thomas and rose are back.

Wade\ Calderon ( Thonas\Rose)
Smith\ Korver
Lebron \ Shumpert
Love \ Crowder\Green
Thompson\Zizic/Frye

The East is such a wasteland. Who makes it to the finals in the East? Milwaukee?

Really? Jeff Green is one of the worst posters in the league and Calderon has been a borderline NBA player for a couple years now.
