But I thought tons on here didn't like his game. He was a "stat stuffer" if I recall.
Good for him. A player who puts up historical numbers deserves a historical contract!

Holy shit fuck!!!!! the first preseason game tips off in under 19 hours FAMS!!!!!!!! The DVR is already set!!!! Dubs vs the Nuggs!

Good to know. I'm gonna do my PS Vue trial today then. But it's gotta be more than 19hrs right? They're having this before the fan fest on the 1st?

I'm surprised. Impressed. I assumed he was outta there once he hit his 10 years.

Perhaps he figured the Lakers would no longer want him once they drafted Lonzo. Or perhaps there's more to his PRP injection than we know, and he's decided to lock in that big money before injury impacts his market value.

We don't...

He also didn't close out on shooters at a "historical" level either.

Imagine how hard it will be to trade him, if it comes to that. That sort of salary pretty much locks him into staying with OKC regardless of whether he or OKC want to part ways 2-4 years down the road.

Sorry man, I meant first NBA game, not Blazers game.

Not the 1st Blazer preseason game--the first one for the entire NBA. First Blazer preseason game is Tuesday.

I'll take not closing out on shooter all day and night if he can do what he does.

46.7 million. Crazy.

Salaries in 2021-22 already guaranteed:

Russ- 46.7 mil
Curry- 45.8 mil
Harden- 43.8 mil
Wall- 43.8 mil
Blake- 38.96 mil (PO)
Jrue Holiday (LOL)- 27 mil (PO)

Dame caps out at 31.6 mil the season prior and CJ at 29.3 mil in 20-21.

20 years ago, the entire salary cap was lower than what Russ and Curry will make in 2022.

I don't like his game and he is a stat stuffer. But he's a damned good stat stuffer. That and the fact that he gave The HCP grief at a fast food joint make him a little more acceptable to me. Not $40M per worth, but better.

So Westbrook gets a pass for not playing D but Dame doesn't? :dunno:
SHit, sir you have NEVER seen me complain about Dame's defensive game, ever. I have played the game and was raised in it's culture. I know when you have a player with his skills, it's on his teammates to cover for whatever "weaknesses" he may have. Now if he isn't doing it on the offensive end that another story.
When guys like Ben Wallace and Rodman are out there handling their business on the defensive end and shitting the bed on offense, NOBODY complains, it's just accepted. Then why can't a player who is unstoppable with the ball in their hands get the same treatment. Good question huh?

Totally forgot about that! Newbies missed a great story. Or would they consider it bragging about my interaction with Brodie?

Right now Lakers fans are wandering the streets aimlessly in a foggy daze stuttering and mumbling gibberish...

First day of training camp: Get PRP injections.
Fourth day of training camp: Sign $205m contract extension.

I have never heard of a player getting PRP injections that became better with time. Hope it works for them.

It's all about effort. If you shoot all the time and don't give an effort on D... :dunno:

At least Dame gives an effort.

I provided more information, which is why mine posted 2 seconds later. Not surprising that you take pride in your faster inferior response. I hear faster and inferior describes you elsewhere as well...

If PG and Melo opt out next summer, OKC will still have 93 mil guaranteed. Sign back PG and they're already above the lux tax threshold, without Melo.

If Melo opts in next summer, then they're looking at 121 mil guaranteed and no PG.

This is a good summer for OKC, but next summer might be a bloodbath.
