5 pts, 7 rebs, 8 dimes and 2 steals....... I'd take that from my starting PG each night. He struggled shooting, but I'm sure that will happen a bunch this year. Kuzma will guard the Gatorade all year FAMS.

...?
If he went off you would've been the first to try and tell everyone on here how wrong they were about Lonzo. How he's a star, blah blah blah.
Take your medicine, his pre-season debut sucked. He shot 2-9 and 1-5 from deep with 3 turnovers, in a loss. That's Elfrid Payton numbers right there.
Maybe he'll look better when the Lakers have put in an offense.(as I've been told they had yet to really put one in) Maybe he won't.

When Teagues was in there he was beating Ball anytime he wanted to in the game. He shot the ball bad last night 2-9 from the field and 1-5 from the 3 point line. They was down by 18 when Kuzma came in and he was the one that brought them back. Now Ball does good job forcing the pace in the Lakers offense and I do like that about him. Yes it was his 1st game in the NBA and he will be decent PG when he gets stronger just like most rookies coming out 1 year in college.

I'm just not that sold on Carmelo being the right guy to make their big 3 work. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but I wasn't sold on him for the Blazers either.

Neither am I. I think Melo is what he is at this point in his career. It's why I was on the "don't bring Melo to the Blazers" bandwagon.

So he was responsible for anywhere between 21 points at the minimum, and 29 at the max.

I'd rather my PG score more than 5 points a game, and shoot better than 22% from the floor. It's his first real game, of course, and he's young...but if that's the production Damian gave us each night, it would be a colossal (that means big) disappointment.

Ball can handle transition, he will succeed or fail on his ability to run the offense when the games slow down

He played 36 min. to get that in a preseason game= not impressive. In comparison: Teague= 9 assists in 23 min... aka good. Until Ball-saq produces some good #'s consistently in real games... there will b no praise from me.:police:

Your missing the point. The guys a Lakers wearing purple and piss. If the was a Blazers wearing red and black we then we would be looking at this topic differently.

Then they should had stuck with Kendall Marshall! He might have been a little light on the rebounds, but his 8p / 8.8a sound like your ideal PG!

(Honestly, I would love to see Dame up his APG by 2+...)

Oh lord, you have a good point. I think my harddrive might be crashing. ;)

I agree, but I do think he'll end up being a good player. He's far more hype than reality though.
If you consider Rubio a good player than yeah, I guess so.

Haha fuck the Warriors. Got beat by Denver!

Ball is so overrated

Ball will be a more than decent point guard in the NBA, but he won't rank with best by any means. He has been set up yo fail by his dad. He will never live up to those standards. #overrated #overhyped

Has there been a post on the new lottery rules? Bottom 3 teams all have a 14% chance to get the #1, so there won't be competition to be the worst. After position 3, there's only a 1.5% -.5% difference in lottery odds.

The first 4 picks will be determined by lotto balls, then by record after that. I really think all the non-playoff positions should be drawn.

Change goes into effect in 2019.

I disagree. I'm not a fan of his and could care less really how he does. I think around draft time I was defending him as a player stickley because he reminded me of Kidd, but more because tons on here were hating on him because of his dads behavior. That mentality drives me nuts. I think he'll average maybe 12/6/8.....just guesses. Who knows with that squad, they'll suck so he'll have his chances.

The laker twolve game is on NBAtv right now. Gonna watch it while waiting for fan fest to start.

Watch for the part where Jeff Teague rips the ball away from Ball so viciously that Ball falls over (as the T'Wolves get a dunk).

Remember Ball looked totally lost in his first SL game too. He'll be fine. He is unselfish to a fault and already a league-leader in quick pinpoint long passes forward on the break. His shot is so funky though: it's fine for set-shot 3s but I think floaters and layups are going to be his only other sources of points.

Watching a replay of the Minny-Lake game right now. Yeah the Wolves are solid. I have always liked Teague more than a lot of you.

Ball looks like a kid out there with men. He is going to take his lumps this year.

I think Minny weakness will be there bench due to I don't think there that deep.
