Love this Miami team.

A bunch of high IQ, competitive guys. Lack elite shot creators but they have the right mix of great shooters, cutters and bigs that can handle and pass. Allows / forces Spo to get really creative with his sets which is a more asthetically pleasing offense for my taste.

Also helps that Tyler Herro is on the team

Always been a huge Jimmy Butler fan as well since his Marquette days.

Miami very impressive down the stretch.

Giannis very not impressive down the stretch.
4-12 from the line for the game?

They have a bunch of wings, play smart and hard, and dissect matchup advantages every time. Just such a well coached team that has adapted to 2020 style of ball, while still being able to manage pace. I wish we could play that disciplined.

Man that’s why I think our team is so played out and bland nowadays. I really wouldn’t mind big changes

I think we've seen a lot more of it in the past.

Not to this Heat team's degree, because well frankly 2-8 this Miami team has more IQ and flexibility in its personnel than we've seen put around Dame.

Spoelstra is on a whole other level than Stotts though. Think he's in a big 3 with Nurse and Stevens.

On the other hand, Bud is closer to Stotts than some certain posters in here would care to admit.

Both Miami and Toronto. Love watching them. Just teams 10-deep with 2-way basketball players.

I love watching Miami. Such a disciplined team.
I was watching them and thought they are pretty deep. I also thought yeah they were pretty disciplined.
Then i thought "Hey where is Meyers?"
I'll ask you a question. If the Blazers had Meyers Leonard on the bench for that game 5 against the Lakers do you think he would play? Damn straight he would have played. I venture a guess if the Blazers had Meyers on the bench for all the bubble games he would have played.
It kind of tells you exactly how bad off the Blazers were personnel wise. Not sure that Meyers has seen anything other than garbage time the entire time he has been in the bubble. He didn't play a minute in tonight's game.

CP3 just shouted out Dame in his post game interview. "Certain guys are just built for the 4th quarter".

OKC has to be enjoying the Westbrick turnover show.

Wow! Talk about choking under pressure.

Man ‪Westbrick ran KD off, PG & Melo, and now is killing Harden...how do people not realize HE IS THE PROBLEM. Got to give him some credit tho, he’s finally helping the Thunder make it past the first round since KD left.. ‬

Bit hard to tell if he's saying Dame made for it or shy away from it.
I take that as he was talking about Dame putting Westbrook and PG away last season and then the way Westbrook played the end of this game with Paul also hitting two clutch threes in this game. Nobody has ever said Damian Lillard "Shyed" away from any clutch 4th quarter.

2,465 posts on your 10th or so account, and you finally came up with an entertaining comment! Well done.

Watching OKC (whom I picked as the team I would like to see take it all; mostly cuz I liked the story of how they survived and then prospered after losing George and Westbrook); I can't help but wonder what would have happened if we had traded for Chris Paul just after OKC got him. It was speculated at that time that a team could get him for expiring contracts (and maybe even get a draft pick back for taking his contract). We had those contracts at the time. It would have been a big gamble for us, but how would we have looked in the guard centric NBA with Lillard, CJ, Paul and Trent? Would we have benefited from having a guy who could help tutor defense and ball movement? Would we have benefited from having a guy who would hold teammates accountable?
