It's like Denver and Philly both have a bunch of good pieces but haven't can't find the right way to put them together. Meanwhile teams like Miami and Toronto manage to be greater than the sum of their parts.
At least Philly has an excuse because they don’t have the player who runs their offense. Denver has all its major pieces.

Game 3 and both Indy and Orlando appeared to have thrown in the towel. I wonder how many players wanted to opt out, felt they couldn't for some reason, and are now showing it?

just awful. low tops need to go. I realize they all get taped up, but the lack of any support at the high ankle has got to be a problem. At the least, they also have to get braces, which it's clear that these guys don't.
you do know that’s there’s no correlation between ankle injuries and low tops right?

theres practically no difference between the two and it’s more of a case of bad luck/weak ankles

Just noticed James Harden has purple and gold colored shoes on today. Any guess who he is wanting to play against in the second round?

The Thunder have absolutely no structure in their offense. Tons of 1 on 1 play. They have one of the smartest PGs in the league but they prefer isolation play having Gilgeous and Schroeder driving and taking tough shots.

PS I only care because I have a good chunk of change riding on them

But we also are WAY better than the sum of the parts...... is it not coaching in our situation?
Gee, I didn't know we were included in the post I was replying to, but of course it's coaching. I mean, we're dead last in assists per game and bottom 5 in the last FOUR seasons including this one.

Do you happen to have those numbers since the restart? I would think the assist numbers have gotten better? Are they even available?

Didn’t we have Dort in our training camp one year? Good defender

Crazy Houston only scored 3 points in OT and gave up 15. Maybe there is a crack to be found for the thunder

how can the Blazers miss Curry when Simons is the "most gifted athlete" Olshey has ever drafted?

Saying someone is a "great athlete" is too often the sports equivalent of " she has a great personality." I have to admit, however, that the team seems to have a weakness for players who only look good because it is closing time.

The moment that he got the shot out, I called "Game." I think the Clippers are the biggest threat to the Lakers, but since they talked that shit to Dame, I would LAUGH if they lost in the first.

That boy is gonna be a problem. I got so much shit here for saying he should go #1 a few yrs back.

Both teams missing their 2nd best players in Porzingas and Paul George but Luka delivers

What a legend Luka Doncic is. Lucky ass franchise to go from one legend in Dirk and immediately transition to another legend upon Dirks retirement.

Then they get Porzingas for free with Tim Hardaway as a throw in? What an amazing franchise. Lucky them
