Amazing we made a run to the WCF with a guys like Kanter starting (only plays 7 minutes this series), Meyers contributing (8 minutes all playoffs for Miami). Other guys like Harkless, Aminu, and Turner we relied on couldn't even make much of an impact on their teams all season. That run was incredible when you really think about it.

Well, this kind of sucks.

Dame is better than most people think.

Also, it's crazy that Doc and the Clips have never made the conference finals during his tenure in LA. Chris Paul has only made the conference finals once. Dame, once.

Fucking west, man.

Tatum, otoh, is going to the ECF for the second time in three years.

And he’s 22.

If Clippers lose Game 6, I predict they lose the series. It would be Denver’s 4th consecutive Game 7 and I think they’d be the tougher team mentally.

That's why I called it a hypothetical. I was (trying) to use Ibaka and Collins as examples to focus on the deeper question. This would be an unabashed "win now" trade. I'm curious at what point our fans would be willing to embrace that.

Of course, the real question is when or if Olshey would embrace it. My answer to that is "pretty much never."

I like him as a player and I think he’d be a good fit, but I’m not sure he’s the high priced guy to spend money on. Part of being a good GM is managing your cap. If Ibaka could be signed for tax-payer MLE money, great, but you know he’s going to want more than that. A sign-and-trade seems like the only way it could possibly work. Ariza, Collins and our 1st rounder for Ibaka? I’d do it and I bet Olshey would. I bet the Raptors would rather just re-sign Serge though.

Laymen, Crabbe, Rolo... lots of mediocre guys have had career years here.

Guys Ibaka is a 5 nowadays. Can no longer play the 4 at a high level. We got Nurk.

Grant Williams and Tyler Herro in the ECF?

CAN'T WAIT!

Shout out to another draft crush, Talen Horton-Tucker. Very cool to see him get some run last night. Looked good out there.

Man MPJ is a going to be a superstar. He has huge balls and so much confidence.
Wait, usually when someone says "He has huge balls" they are saying that he has so much confidence but you just said he has huge ball and also has so much confidence. Do you know something about MPJ's anatomy that the rest of us don't? Also if MPJ does end up being a superstar he is either going to have to grow up a lot (by that I mean the guy needs a serious reality check) or he is going to be the actualization of the stigma that followed Melo around his whole career. I don't actually think Melo was that self-centered but right now MPJ is incredibly about himself and he hasn't done close to enough to be acting the way he does. Melo won the fucking national championship in college almost single-handedly. Really what the fuck has MPJ done to justify his bravado??? Not a damn thing. That's some toxic, team killing shit.

It's really a credit to Dame and to CJ individually (I still think that they would be much better apart) and it also tells you that Stotts isn't that bad... oh and there were all of those injuries to other teams that made losing Nurk a little easier to swallow.

LOL.

Can't judge Zach, he is too young! He and MPJ are the same age (and MPJ has less NBA experience). Personally, I think MPJ is a million dollar body with a 10 cent head and that many of the criticisms aimed at him are completely fair. If that judgement is fair, however, then Zach is not immune either.

Yeah, I hate the guys defense but his offense is top notch. He is one of the best bucket getters in the game, being able to score from anywhere inside 26 feet. His handle is serious. When he sees himself as the facilitator he's a really good passer. The other thing I like about CJ is just that he seems like a good guy. I don't think him and Dame are the best complement to each other because both guys are scoring guards (Dame is a much better and more willing passer) and both guys aren't great defenders (Dame is average and CJ is shitty). I think CJ would be a great complement on a team that had great defense around him and whose number one scorer was an inside presence, so CJ could be their number two scorer and really let loose on the perimeter offensively.

Do we credit the coach? I don't know anymore?

I'll let others make that determination as long as they use the same criteria to coaches across the league.

I don't know how anyone could look back at our playoff roster last year and think that's a WCF team though, truly amazing run!

Uh oh...... Giannis just unfollowed the Bucks official Instagram account and all his teammates...... only 1 thing you can take from this.......

What kind of a jerk can be a fan of a team that owes its trophies to stealing players from other franchises?

Oh, sorry (not sorry) @THE HCP.
