A team that’s young and plays hard no matter who the opponent is the Thunder. Beat the Lakers twice already and besting the Jazz right now despite no SGA

It took a lot to displace A_am Morrison as the most over-rated draft pick from Gonzaga. Quite impressive, really.
 
Houston starts season 1-1, anything could happen.
Houston loses 15 straight, yuck.
Houston just beat Chicago tonight, landing at a cool 2-16.

This isn’t a Warriors and Suns forum. This is a Blazer forum with pinwheel blinded nutjobs thinking we will win 55 games every season! HA!
 
Speaking of Houston...

What happened to the Duck's basketball program? Another bad loss. Weren't they supposed to be competitive?
 
Warriors are so nice. No Klay and still on pace to break their reg season win record

Sir, this is an AROUND THE NBA thread. Please understand that we discuss ALL teams here in this thread, not just the home team which may or may not have nutjobs cheering for it.

So, what do you think? Will the Lakers finish ahead of the Warriors and Suns? Will they make the 2022 NBA Finals?

Before the season I didn’t feel that way and I don’t now. I will say I assumed they’d be better than the Warriors, but not the suns. Golden state has really surprised me with their play. Never thought the Lakers would win the title this season.

This is where guys lose me. You can not root for the Warriors, but how can you not respect their play?

Oh I respect their play. I just don't like that they've taken us out. The "Fuck the Warriors!" response was more of an Aldo thing. He likes to talk about how Dame is "feast or famine" and Steph is so great and there is truth to that but him claiming to be a Blazers fan but going on and on about every random team that does well or players he likes more than ours gets me in a "fuck that" sort of mood.

Also in all honesty I'm jealous of what the Warriors have... the recent titles and this season's play but I try not to get too bitter about it when compared to where we (by that I mean the Blazers) are at. The fact is I let @AldoTrapani trigger me a little and I shouldn't.
 
For me, as a basketball fan, it would be hard not to love Warriors basketball. Easy best basketball since forever.

I guess we'll see. I would still like to see us try and build a more balanced team around Dame but I do understand where the "blow it up" crowd is coming from.

Yup. It happens. We just gotta learn from this era and not make the same mistakes. This was a failure but we got to learn from it.

They don't have a sharpshooter, like Dorsey or Duarte.. They don't have guy like Omoruyi (sp) or
Dillon Brooks who can get a tough basket. Richardson looks like a scared rabbit; cannot be a leader. That said, still would not be surprised if Altman turns them into something by the end of the year. But like he says it's gonna be a really tough job.
 
See that Bronny says he "grazed" Stewart with his "hand". Also see he got some fans thrown out for saying they wish he would get hit by a car and for saying 'Bronny's a bih, bih, bih. "
Huh? (Yes, I am beginning to not like Bron, but still not a full hater.) BTW, Mr. Holier than thou said something to the effect of "Throw those fucking fans out!"
