Or maybe the other GM's just wanted to go and he's like "what more can I get out of it? seeing them another time won't all the sudden change things"

I think people just need a reason to bitch.

aren't you bitching about people bitching?

wait, does this mean I'm bitching about you bitching about people bitching?

if you retort it could put a glitch in the matrix

Your theory that we're the only organization that can't get anything out seem unlikely, but it's possible. This reminds me of our thinking that we're above getting value out of a G-League team. Either we're a cut above or we're missing the boat.

Edit: I'm not bitching, I'm asking a question. I'd love to know a concrete answer.

We never know what Olshey is about to do, so why would he play his card by going to this? I doubt it's like Neil was thinking "wait...what? I have no idea about any of this"

I agree with your conclusion that the organization was likely aware of this event nd made the conscious decision to not attend. However, the organization has made conscious decisions in the past that were mistakes, which is why I brought it up in the first place.

EVERY organization has. Portland fans just love to bring it up as if no one else does.

I can't speak for all Portland fans, but I certainly have never said or implied that other organizations don't make mistakes. My point is that Portland, like other oganizations can make the wrong choice. Just because a choice is conscious doesn't mean it should be above talking about. Just because a question is asked, doesn't mean someone is bitching. This place would be super boring if we were only allowed to praise every player, coach, and front office member.

I said the kings aren’t as bad as people think

I certainly agree with you here. The Kings are not a bad team at all and they will surprise a number of teams to start this season. I do wonder if they start winning if they continue to win when teams have a good look at them and apply a bit more pressure?

Charlotte starts 3-0. Miles Bridges having a breakout season 'so far'

I was thinking they were one of the easier games in Portland's first 21....maybe not

Cole Anthony is establishing himself in his second year.

Watching the Lakers in the third quarter, it's like comedy hour.

Turnovers, whining. DeAndre crying to the officials. Westbrook complaining to the officials. Two turnovers like 5 seconds apart. Memphis outhustling them. Tie game but the Lakers chemistry is a mess.

Westbrook having a quadruple-double night: Heading to the fourth quarter with 13 pts, 12 boards, 6 reb and just committed his 7th turnover.

Looks like the Warriors are going to get out of Sacramento with the win, but it was close most of the way.

Carmelo having a great night shooting.

Steven Adams needs to stop thinking he's Nurk; two turnovers trying to thread the needle from the elbow instead of just making the simple pass.

Lakers having an unbelievable shooting night, Jaren Jackson has done nothing, and LA might pull this out.

Grizzlies on a back to back and still missing Dillon Brooks. They are fun to watch

Bazemore fouls Morant on a desperation 40-foot shot with Lakers up 3.

Ja makes the first two but misses the shot to tie.

Melo makes 2 FTs. Lakers win by three.
