Because this isn’t the place to discuss your/our opinions on getting vaccinated. The effects/affects of Wiggins missing games, yes. But not why or why not to get it. That’s that OT page bullshit!

I believe from the article, it was more that he was firm in his desire to be traded, and didn't want to waste their time flying out to try to convince him. Not that he's avoiding talking to them.

Not really because it's the owners that own the teams and then the cities also has there requirements too.

Last year you either had no fans or very view fans. This year your going 10 of thousands fans in on little area. Big difference.

That was not my take away at all. From the article;

"Multiple sources said Simmons didn’t want his teammates, some of whom he considers friends, to make the Philadelphia-to-Los Angeles commute out of courtesy because he won’t change his mind on wanting a trade."

I think its much better for him to tell them this before they travel, then have them travel and he just refuses to meet them. If he really didn't care about his teammates he probably wouldn't have said anything, warned them, or met them, and would have let them waste their time flying all over.

sorry BC, but it seems you're opting to believe the scenario here that casts Simmons in the worst light

here's an alternative explanation: Morey is trying to salvage a mess he made and was trying to use teammates of Simmons as cover in nothing more than a PR stunt

I mean, it's not as if other 76er players couldn't call Simmons anytime between the playoffs and today. For all we know, some might already have talked to him

Yeah, Im sure he's received multitudes of text, young people text more than phone?
His agent has already set the table as to wear he wants to go and engineer a deal for Ben to hook up in CA. He represents players from all four teams probably.
I could see GS or Sac getting him?

Please show me a statement sources directly to Ben Simmons or Klutch sports saying CA only. I’ll wait, but unless there is something very new it doesn't exist. I really, really wish this fake, fraudulent, GSW pundit based lie would die already.

Who knows… but his agent will attempt to get him to a team of preference and earn his take.
Its not unreasonable for a guy like him to have a few few teams at the top of his list.

That particular story may be bogus - but I would bet you a beer he has a list of teams he has no interest in playing for. When I saw the recent story about the Cavs being ready to make a huge offer for him, I just about snorted coffee all over my keyboard!
 
GSW owner was fined $50,000 because he said he didn't want to trade for Simmons. NBA found it to be tampering.

Yeah it would be so unlike someone like him in the nba in 2021 to want to only play for CA teams.

It really makes you wonder about the story that KD strongly objected to an Irving for Simmons trade. If the story is for real, how low of an opinion of Simmons does he have that he would rather have Irving as a team-mate!

I don't think this reflects that badly on him: he's actually friends with the players and he doesn't want to have to tell them to go to hell. THEY'RE the ones carrying water for the team.
