Let's move on from the personal attacks, the poster made a mistake and conceded to it. The lesson learned today, video games are bad for your awareness of the real world.
I thought CMaggs trade idea made a lot of sense, but I'm not sure the Clippers are ready to break up the chemistry they have going. Brand and CMaggs have a very strong relationship as teammates at Duke and their last 5 or so seasons as Clippers. Plus the Clippers drafted their future SF in Yaroslav Korolev, and Mike Dunleavy Jr. is the wrong coach for Artest. (ie Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'neal)
Interesting trade scenario j0se. It's not a bad trade for either team, but can you imagine how QRich would feel if he gets another life changing experience after his brother just died. "Sorry to hear about your brother, by the way you've just been traded again." Pretty cold, I'm not sure if New Yorks wants that type of PR right now. Also I don't think Larry Bird wants anything to do with helping out Isiah Thomas. I also don't think he wants any part of making Artest happy with the way Artest took his demands public instead of handling it "in house." Adding Artest to the Knicks puts them one step closer to making it back to the playoffs.
I wouldn't be surprised if Artest is sent somewhere he's going to hate, maybe the Hawks for Al Harrington. I know Harrington made sure not to burn any bridges in Indiana and he's familiar with the players. He can fit right into the mix and replace Artest at SF. The only downside, is the Pacers don't have any money to re-sign him unless Atlanta takes a bad contract along with Artest. Hard to see Atlanta agreeing to that.
Another bad franchise, the Raptors might be a destination for Artest. Joey Graham would really benefit from Artest mentoring him. Mo Pete + Rights to Roko for Artest? I know the Pacers were high on Roko during the draft. Mo Pete gives them a solid scorer and adequate defender. Possible roadblock could be Artest refusing to report. You know he's more than capable of just never showing up to Toronto and the Raptors would have another Alonzo Mourning situation to deal with.
