# Story Highlights
# Embattled Illinois governor has the power to name Senate replacement
# He will pick former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris
# Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat
# Senate could refuse to seat Burris, or it could seat him and investigate appointment
My hunch is that he won't serve.
Even if they can't not seat him, which it appears they can't as decided by the Supreme Court in Powell v. McCormack, they can expel him with 2/3rds vote, which will be easy if the Democratic caucus is united behind Reid in opposition to him.
