We will see how Biggie's confidence is in real games, and his defense. If he shows up to play and plays reasonable D, then I think you are right. He has a nice quick release on the three, can pass and rebound well. What isn't to like.

I think Vonleh has better physical tools, but he just doesn't use them like he could/should. Biggie seems to get it so far.

I see a lot of Vonleh/Biggie battles in the future. It's possible that they become very close.

The extra year of college can be huge! Biggie wasn't very good after his Freshman year but really blossomed his Sophomore season. Vonleh didn't get that so his 2nd year was spent mostly on an NBA bench instead of playing and developing his game and confidence.

Interesting thought. Both posses a unique set of skills that requires the right circumstance and team chemistry to flourish.

Swanigan has Green beat on most of the offensive stats (college), but Green definitely had a head start on the defensive skills.

Draymond didn't really blossom until his 3rd or 4th year in the NBA. I'm excited to see how Caleb blends with the Blazers. It sounds like his attitude and determination will mesh well with Dame.

I'm not sure the Green and Love comparisons are accurate or necessary.

In today's NBA, it is advantageous to have PF who can hit the three, handle the ball, rebound, pass and cover wings on the PnR. Green does that. Biggie looks like he will be able to do that too, but bigger, longer, and a bit slower. Biggie and Green are not the same player, but the do somewhat fit into the same category.
