The left stoked the fires just as much as Trump did, if not more.

Trump was "targeted for assassination" as well with the Ricin letters of a few weeks ago.
 
The solution is to be more of a hardass with these kind of threats from citizens. People are way too loose in their criticisms which lead to these targeted attacks. There should be a separate arm of the law to find these individuals and neutralize potential threats. The bar should be lowered. So many unhinged nutbags out there, we need to remove them from society.

Im starting to think im making a mistake in dumping a bunch of money into my house and instead should stock up on survival gear, ammo and buy some land in the middle of nowhere.

I haven't had a chance to read up on the latest news on the story, but antifa extremists use and and all events, undersrandable or not, to cause havoc in thier own ways in retaliation.

Was it found this was a democratic sect doing this or republican?

Its both extremes. One side ratchets it up a notch and the other typically responds in kind is all im saying and last i had heard is this might be a republican stunt?

I just read two articles that described more dog whistles Trump has used.

1. Wanting to say merry christmas instead of happy holidays

2. Now this one is even better. The term "special interest" in a political ad is anti Semitic.

I would vote any politician regardless of party, that condoned keeping the MERRY XMAS out of the public square or anywhere. But I also don't have a problem with other religions promoting their holidays.

I'd have to agree this is a dog whistle. Why would anyone even give a shit what holiday greeting is used? The only reason I can see for making an issue out of this is to imply that Christianity is preferred to other religions. Ergo, dog whistle.

You'd have to give some context for that, it's not clear what you are referring to. There are plenty of uses that wouldn't be at all anti-Semitic (e.g., the NRA is a special interest). But one could also make an ad that says "Special interest groups are destroying the country. We have to kill all the Jews."

I wouldn't even understand why anti semitism would be on the rise if not for social media.

The same format that spreads loony "dog whistle" nonsense is equally valuable at spreading the crazy nazi conspiracy theories.

There are far too many vulnerable minds out there being exposed to such nonsense.

I think thats it in a nutshell and its a snowball effect. More vulnurable minds breeds more lunatics trying to coherse them.

Bothsides. Not just one lunatic. Many lunatics from both sides.
 
Both parties need to develop a hard stance of opposition against thier extrmist comstituents and force them to create thier own party.

Im a liberal republican. Im not a trump supporter per say, but im also not a Trump hater like some people are.

But as long as the vast majority of people are sheeples, it wont happen and more lunatics will rise to try to lead or end the sheeples lives.
